THEY CHARGE YOU $40 JUST TO LITERALLY OPEN THE BOX AND TURN ON THE PHONE, WITHOUT EVEN ONCE TELLING YOU THAT THEY CHARGE FOR IT. Please be aware that this is a predatory store and a Verizon "authorized retailer". I went to get a new phone on 8/30/2025 and they started to open the box and charge me a $40 setup fee without even ONCE telling me about the fee or even showing me the charges despite me asking for an itemized breakdown several times. They instead only showed me the Verizon bill estimate which they made sound like the fees I would be getting charged that day and obfuscated the process. Again I asked for the explanation of charges SEVERAL times that day but they never once showed it to me until I got a PDF AFTER I paid. I have filed a complaint with the PA Office of the Attorney General and have contacted their corporate office demanding a refund and additional compensation. Please research Victra online before buying a phone at this store. I was not even asked whether it was ok for them to open the box for MY new phone! Or told about this predatory and completely unnecessary setup charge! The setup wasn't even completed in store by them anyway! I was additionally charged a $10 "Remaining phone balance" fee again without knowning what this is for, despite not having traded-in any phones or having no balance on any phones through Verizon.
