- MMmp murdochJan 29, 20261.0The Best Buy stores no longer allow customers to call a specific store. ALL calls are directed to centralized customer service. All I wanted to know was whether or not the sales person who helped me last week, who was excellent, would be working today. Impossible quest!! After trying for 10 minutes, I finally got through the AI phone nightmare to a real person. But they were in the centralized customer service. Customer service agents are NOT equipped to make a call on a non-customer line to get an answer to my question. I was told I would have to drive to the store to determine if that sales agent was there. This message is so customer Unfriendly that it makes me want to take my business elsewhere. Losing the personal touch in business is not good for the bottom line.
