    I was given a quote. The process took an hour and a half because their iPad kept crashing and we had to re-enter all my information. By this point, it was closing time. I was told to think about it and I could come back. I went back 2 days later and once again spent an hour and half re-entering my information. They would not honor my quote. Instead of getting 2 free phones, there was now a $5 monthly charge and they wouldn’t give me the discounts listed. There was no mention if I came back I wouldn’t get the same discounts and free phones as quoted. Isn’t that what a quote is for? No one could give me a reason why it was higher 2 days later. I contacted the original person who gave me the quote. This rep wasn’t there on my 2nd visit. This was the flimsy excuse: “ Hi, I talked to my managers. The promotions we had on Sunday was based off a bill summary from your old carrier. Scanning your bill with your old carrier gives us the promos and when we scanned it on Sunday it offered an extra $25/month discount. Which is something that is pretty rare with that promo. When they ran it yesterday that promo was not showing. Unfortunately since the promos are completely up to our ai program we have no control on how it populates. If you're willing to stop back in at some point we can try to re do the entire process to see if that promo populates again. I'm very sorry, that it works like that and we can't honor it, but our hands may be tied if it does not populate.“ Pretty unbelievable that “ai” randomly gives out discounts. I then went to my local Verizon store in Chippewa. Not only did they duplicate the quote, they give me an extra $5 off a month.Of course all of those discounts Cranberry wouldn’t honor, we’re still available. The extra $5 off a month ($30 instead of “the pretty rare $25” )was still available and Cranberry gave me the lesser discount. Chippewa store even gave me a better quality free phone. The whole transaction in Chippewa was seamless and enjoyable. I should’ve gone to my local store first instead of wasting 2 trips and 3 hours of my time at Cranberry store. Lesson learned!

    The customer service at this location is phenomenal. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and felt welcomed right away. I ended up spending nearly six hours there working through some major phone issues, and the team was incredibly patient and supportive the entire time. I worked primarily with Dom and Dan, and both maintained such positive attitudes and real perseverance while dealing with my very frustrating iPhone, which seemed to have a mind of its own—randomly launching and closing apps, clicking things on its own, and not responding to touch. Despite the challenges, they stayed calm, professional, and determined to help me get everything resolved. Several other employees also kindly checked in on me while I was working through transferring my data, which I truly appreciated. I could hear the staff interacting with other customers as well, and every single interaction was handled with patience, compassion, and a genuine willingness to help. My phone issues were stressful enough on their own, but thanks to the outstanding customer service, what could have been a miserable experience turned into a very positive one. I highly recommend this Verizon location. Dom, Dan, and the rest of the team absolutely deserve recognition—whether that’s promotions, bonuses, or whatever form of appreciation they receive. They truly earned it!

    Shoutout to the Verizon crew for being absolute legends. UPS next door tried to charge me $1 for a tiny piece of tape, so I walked into Verizon half jokingly asking if they could help a loyal customer since 2006. They came through without hesitation. Didn’t catch their names, but whoever was working today… real MVPs. Top-tier customer service and proof that kindness still exists.

    Daniel D at this Verizon location was awesome! Acknowledged me as soon as I entered, had his equipment in hand to process my transaction, knew exactly what to do for my specific order, and had me in and out of the store with my completed item in record time. This location was jamming on a holiday weekend and he still provided individualized, outstanding service! 10/10 make the drive here for service. You won’t be disappointed. 🙌🏻
