My female Cairn terrier had pre-op blood work done today. The technicians here are very friendly and gentle.

Recently, the service there has gone downhill. The staff ask multiple times what you were there for and are not thorough with what is going on. They are so disorganized that they prescribed medication for my dogs wrong ear. My dog is going to get surgery on her eye soon and needs labwork, which at first they told me was fasting labs but then switched it and said not fasting. Then they called me and said no one will be available the day they scheduled her lab work. One of the receptionists honestly might have a serious mental health or drug problem, she left a five minute voicemail just to say that the day needed switched. After my dog’s surgery on her eye, I will 100% be switching vets. 5 points does not have their act together anymore and it’s not worth the frustration and possible harm to my pet considering their severity of disorganization and chronic mistakes.

I took my two little Yorkie mix dogs that I had adopted almost two weeks ago from Beaver County Humane Society only because they offered a free assessment because we adopted them. This place is a joke. It smells like urine and chemicals. The vet barely looked at them and never gave me a straight answer to my questions. Then I asked if they could trim their nails for me. No one said that was an extra charge until I was at my car getting my dogs settled to go home. The front desk person came out and said I owed $70 for the two nails trims. I told her that was crazy because I could get a full grooming at my groomer for $65 on one dog. I told her I wasn't paying it because if I had known ahead of time I would not have had them trim their nails. I got in my car and left without paying. Then two days later the manager called and explained they don't set the prices... which I knew already. DUH! I told her that I was not informed of the price and that someone should have told me. Well, she said they don't do that. I asked why no one stopped me before I was at my getting my dogs settled to go home because I actually spoke to the front desk people on my way out the door. She said she didn't know the story...welk find out and train your people. You're a manager...get with it. There was no way I was putting their leashes back on and going back inside. They were traumatized enough. I told her would send a check for the $70 but, I would never ever be back and would let everyone know this is a horrible place to take your pets. You could have at least got my name right when you responded to the review. I've never seen such incompetent people in my life.

Amazingly kind staff. We have had 3 of our furbabies cremated through VCA Five Points from the moment we call to the moment we pick up our babies they are handled with love and care. The creation service they partner with sends your furbaby back to you in a gorgeous box with paw print molds so you can cherish them forever.
