I took my two little Yorkie mix dogs that I had adopted almost two weeks ago from Beaver County Humane Society only because they offered a free assessment because we adopted them. This place is a joke. It smells like urine and chemicals. The vet barely looked at them and never gave me a straight answer to my questions. Then I asked if they could trim their nails for me. No one said that was an extra charge until I was at my car getting my dogs settled to go home. The front desk person came out and said I owed $70 for the two nails trims. I told her that was crazy because I could get a full grooming at my groomer for $65 on one dog. I told her I wasn't paying it because if I had known ahead of time I would not have had them trim their nails. I got in my car and left without paying. Then two days later the manager called and explained they don't set the prices... which I knew already. DUH! I told her that I was not informed of the price and that someone should have told me. Well, she said they don't do that. I asked why no one stopped me before I was at my getting my dogs settled to go home because I actually spoke to the front desk people on my way out the door. She said she didn't know the story...welk find out and train your people. You're a manager...get with it. There was no way I was putting their leashes back on and going back inside. They were traumatized enough. I told her would send a check for the $70 but, I would never ever be back and would let everyone know this is a horrible place to take your pets. You could have at least got my name right when you responded to the review. I've never seen such incompetent people in my life.

I was recently at Five Points Animal Hospital on September 24, 2025 at 14:27 at 2057 Broadhead Rd, Aliquippa PA 15001. I was taking in my Chihuahua who was 14 years old and suffering for several months in to be euthanized. Among other issues (sleeping all the time, vomiting, and urinating continuously), the dog also had teeth that were dark brown in color and halitosis. I had explained this to the vet tech who took my dog, Lucie to the back room. I also brought a friend in as a witness. The vet, Dr. White, came in 20 minutes later and gaslighted me by saying, “this is not the same dog that has been described to me by the vet tech.” She also proceeded to say that she was wagging her tail and happy to see everyone, her heart sounded good. Her lungs were clear and her teeth “looked great.” I began wondering if she was looking at the same dog that I had brought in. I was already in tears and she was began offering “other services” to prolong her suffering/life. I told her this has been going on for months and the dog has been rapidly declining. However, she continued to PUSH other services. Dr. White explained that she had to offer other services and continued to PUSH for other “services.” At that time, I begged her, raising my voice, to PLEASE put the dog down. She has SUFFERED enough. I haven’t experienced such stress and DURESS in a long time. I am also a heart attack survivor. After what she put me through, I thought I was going to suffer a stroke. So when they finally brought my poor dog in the room to be euthanized, I got to hold her as she passed. I was trying to say my goodbyes and the vet tech was already trying to wrap her up in the blanket and proceed to put the blanket over Lucie’s head. I removed the blanket over her head and I continued to kiss her on her head and tell her that I loved her. They did not give me much time, approximately less than one minute with my dog. I was rushed, and I left the room. This was very disgusting treatment as some vets will allow a person to have at least an hour after their dog has passed. I completely view the veterinary realm much differently. It’s all about money and prolonging a pets suffering. I put a call in to the office manager who did call me back on a Saturday and she said she would speak with the vet and the vet tech. She said she would call me back and already a week has gone by..

I was probably more nervous than my cat was, and they walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. They didn't do any services on her that I didn't ask for, and only addressed exactly what I was there for.

This place is an absolute joke the wait is ridiculous. Was there for other an hour the air is filled with toxic chemicals. The vet tech seems like she has no clue what’s going on. The front desk staff is extremely rude. The place is a joke. I wouldn’t recommend going here even if your pet was actively in a crisis. go elsewhere. There are more vets in the area that respect your time, nose, and pets wellbeing.
