  Do not go here unless you want untrained, lazy workers to mess up your device even worse. The 30-day workman guarantee is a lie and a scam. Geek Squad technician(s) in Springfield, OR damaged the interior hardware of my phone in several places after coming in for a back camera replacement. Once picking up my phone from Geek Squad after the camera replacement, the phone has been suddenly shutting down every 3 minutes. Stripped screws, missing caps, and improperly attached cables were uncovered by another Authorized Apple Service Provider, when Geek Squad refused to help me. We called Apple and they advised me to return to Geek Squad and demand a supervisor. Geek Squad said they would repair or replace the phone but then never did. They claim to have run a diagnostic test and because the damage is unrelated to the original repair, they can't do anything to help me. Calling customer service sent me on a wild goose chase with no help. I was given 5 different numbers to call and kept getting to an unrelated department, such as shipping or android phones. Two separate people hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I paid $169 for a phone that wont stay on and now is failing diagnostics in the speakers and wireless charger.

  Hai from the Geek Squad suggested that I get a new desktop computer that would hold all the data I needed. She was instrumental in making the connection with Apple for me. The data transfer was fast and easy and she was cheerful, helpful and knowledgable throughout the entire process. Kudos also to the other extremely capable and staff members; Lumi and Rudy. I couldn't have been more pleased!

  Best Buy will never have my business again. Went into Geek Squad to have my computer fixed, paid $60 more for a hardrive that they claimed was broken. 3 weeks later and my computer is broken again. Terrible service, they either don’t know what they’re doing or don’t care. Will never be stepping foot in a Best Buy again, and telling everyone I know to do likewise.

  So I try to get my laptop hinge fix thru geek squad, they wanted $346 to fix my $249 laptop. So I said No and send it back. When I want to pick up my non fix laptop, they said no we need you to talk to the geek squad people before you can have your laptop back. I said they did not fix it and I am the owner so they can not hold it. So go get it and I will be on my way. They said that is not how it work. I stop him and said I it mine they did NOT fix it. I do not need to talk to them. It is my laptop! I finally asked for a supervisor. They never came and talk to me. After me saying "just give me my laptop and I will be on my way with a lot of bad works I can't say on here! Now for the record I was not try to cut the line off, for the help they are waiting for. I had a best buy employee helping me right then, always he had to do is go in the back scan it and give it to me. But no they think I need to talk to someone that did NOT fix my laptop. Best thing I can say is save time and money and go to any other store and buy a new laptop. Geek Squad is a joke! Never going to them again!
