  My first two visits here were pleasant. Today was a different story. I took my dog in a couple days ago for vaccines and she had a rash on her belly. We were given wipes to apply to the rash, with no instructions. The bottle doesn’t say to use multiple times a day. I guess the Dr. wrote down that we were also supposed to give her Benadryl but nobody told us that. The interaction I had today with the vet tech Caitlin was difficult to say the least. First of all, we just weighed the dog four days ago. She’s a four month old puppy, who’s very excited to be in a place other than home. Mind you after being crated for four hours earlier today. She wouldn’t sit on the scale, rude undertone to questions asked by Caitlin. We get in the exam room. More weird, rude undertones. I don’t appreciate it at all. We have a puppy plan here. We love the regular doctor and the other techs we have seen. Caitlin didn’t even seem happy to see the puppy. Don’t get a job working with animals if you don’t like them. Do better… For the animals and the humans who choose to do business with you. Give clear discharge instructions. Be kind.

  My sweet girl, Winnie, just whelped puppies over the weekend and wasn’t herself. After my primary vet couldn’t get her in until tomorrow, I called VCA Salem and they had incredible service. From the front staff, to vet techs, to Dr. Hughes, they all made me feel like Winnie’s care was their top priority. I can’t say thank you enough for making a very stressful and worrisome situation into one of utmost compassion and care. Many thanks!

  My cat had a abscess from a bite wound. I called several Vetinarying places that have long wait list and unaffordable prices. VCA attended to my cat within 15 minutes, gave me a coupon for 50% off the initial fee. My cat was treated in under 2 hours at a affordable price. Thank you VCA. Will be establishing my cat with you guys
