I left to come back later, only find out the order was marked as picked up. Either the employee stole the phone, or gave it to someone else. I'm currently working with Verizon to get a resolution. I've spent over an hour on hold while they escalate and try to sort it out. This store is owned by a 3rd party, who clearly have low standards for employees. My account now has a $1300 charge on it for a phone I never received.
