    My mother-in-law recently purchased a new phone through Verizon, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. Within a week she needed some basic help with the device, so she went into the Redmond, Oregon Verizon store on Veterans Way and Hwy 97 with my wife. The employee they spoke with was not only unhelpful, but actually made a comment along the lines of not caring if they returned the phone and went elsewhere. Today they went back because she was still having issues, and this time they were told that Verizon corporate doesn’t allow that store to provide tech support because it “takes away from time they’re supposed to be selling phones.” An 82-year-old woman needed simple assistance, and the store essentially refused to help her. They finally went to a third-party Verizon retailer, and that person helped immediately without any issue. If it were up to me, my mother-in-law would already be on my AT&T plan. After this experience, I won’t be returning to Verizon, and I can’t recommend them to anyone. Customer service matters, and refusing to help an elderly customer with basic support is unacceptable.

    Got 3 new IPhones from here under the agreement we would receive significant incentives for trading our old phones in. Shipped all 3 phones in bubble wrap and an additional layer of protective foam for shipping. Took them over 3 and a half weeks to even register that they had been shipped and processed. Despite me being able to track the package and see it had arrived and sat for some time. They then claimed 2 of the phones did not turn on and refused to give us the agreed upon discounts. Not the first time we've had problems with this store. Will not be renewing our Verizon services when the current contract expires.

    Horrible experience. I worked with Ben who was very nice but he did not finish setting up my daughter's watch so I left the store thinking everything was set up. We moved to Idaho two days later and come to find out the watch doesn't work. It was never tied to anyone's iPhone so it is useless. I spent 2 hours today speaking to someone at Verizon in another country and in the process of fixing this she deactivated my cell phone and after another 45 mins fixing my phone my daughter still doesn't have an active watch. I am now sitting for over an hour in Idaho Verizon store trying to fix what Ben should have done in the first place. I normally never write reviews but this is ridiculous. If I could I might just switch over to another carrier just for the heck of it. Horrible service.
