- MWMelody WhiteAug 1, 20251.0Not sure if the owner is asking people to leave good reviews for compensation of some sort but we had such an awful experience at this Verizon location today. My mom scheduled an appointment online for 2:00 PM. I was meeting her at the store so I walked in and there’s one guy working. I was early, around 1:30 and just wanted to check in and confirm our 2pm spot and then wait for my mom to arrive. No greeting of any sort, he just stared at me. He then said “it’s busy it’ll be after 2pm”. I knew this considering I had a 2pm appointment. Someone else walked in after me and same thing, no greeting just a stare and a “what are you trying to get done”… as if we’re inconveniencing him by being there. Having worked in customer service and sales my whole life, this was such a terrible first impression of the store. It was also pitch silent in there with no music, which made it pretty uncomfortable for the customers inside. My mom and I left and came back for our 2pm appt and the employee once again just stared at us as we walked in. He was helping other customers, in which we were fine with. However, at 2:25 (25 mins after our scheduled appt) I asked him how much longer it would be and he said “Probably another 25 minutes”. ??? Again, it’s one thing to be understaffed and things run behind but the bare minimum is to communicate that to customers. Even just a “Thanks for your patience, it’ll be a bit longer” would’ve been nice. Instead we just sat there in silence. Out of all the Verizon’s I’ve been to, this was the most unpleasant experience and certainly not a store I’d ever return to. If you value your time, money, and customer service - avoid this location at all costs. To that employee working: I hope they provide you with more support next time and or you find a job that doesn’t involve interacting with the general public!

I was in full-on crisis mode and the last place I wanted to go was into a phone store to get my issue resolved. I walked in a little before closing and John didn't only help me, he got me out the door with my issue fixed at no cost. I was fully expecting to have to buy a new phone but instead walked away with a great experience from a phone store of all places. You're all the best and I will absolutely be back when it's time for an upgrade. Y'all rule!
