I visited this location yesterday to buy some headphones, I was looking at the beat studio pros and there were a few boxes that had been opened and we asked if there was a lower price on those ones that had just been open and on the box it said they both were in “perfect condition” so we were very happy to see a little discount not knowing that that pair and another pair that I would pick up later that day both don’t work right. The guy standing doing nothing by the security with the long hair. White guy was very rude, When I said there was a problem both times that I had been in already in one day. he told me it was a “sounds like a you problem” when it was definitely a store fault because they were trying to sell refurbished headphones that don’t work right just because they turn on and play music doesn’t mean they’re working right. and since I had already been there three times in one day, I asked if I could get a small discount on buying just a brand new pair they proceeded to say no, and started comparing it to if someone bought a microwave and they brought it back and said it didn’t work, but they (the store thinks it works fine) put it back out there for it to be sold to the next person and they bought it and said it worked perfect that made no sense, but to whom stands at the front and does nothing but means snarky comments he’s not a good worker. Also we’re trying to say it was theft but “they know it’s not case i just helped u” the hour before when i already was returning the first pair that they should not be putting back out to be sold.

I had an excellent experience with Geek Squad at Best Buy this past weekend. I brought in my 2012 MacBook Air, which had not been turning on properly for quite some time. Even though it is an older device, the technician took the time to carefully troubleshoot the issue and successfully helped me get back into my laptop.
I originally came in for a separate issue with another laptop, and the team kindly did a courtesy check on my MacBook as well. That level of care and willingness to help really stood out. Guillermo was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. He kept troubleshooting, explained what he was doing, and made sure I understood my options.
Not every retail visit ends on such a positive note, especially with older technology, so I truly appreciate the effort and dedication. It made a big difference. Thank you for the outstanding service. I highly recommend this Geek Squad team.

My old computer was hacked. It was an absolutely disastrous mess, so I decided to buy a new one. I went to Costco and bought one. The guy who was working in the electronics department was absolutely clueless. I've had a computer since before there were hard drives, so I chose one of three available models. I received absolutely no instructions about installing or using it. I paid for it and put it in my car. On my way home, I passed by Best Buy and decided to check it out. Et voila! Same box for $200 less. Not only that, but they installed all my programs and info from the old one and included an excellent warranty. The employees and techs couldn't be nicer and are quite knowledgeable. I returned the unopened Costco box on my way home.

So I’m a Best Buy member here, and I use a lot of their services. I recently moved from Eugene and I have never had any issues or bad experiences as the one I had recently. I ordered an Apple TV 4K and a HDMI cord through the app and scheduled for pick up. I got a notification from the app that they were ready, so I head in and get my item. I’m waiting in line minding my business, there are two ladies in front of me being helped, and up until now nothing is being said and I’m just minding my business. I pull up next to the counter once the ladies left with their item and this dude who looks like a liberal version of Matthew Walsh decided to harass me saying I was making the women in front me uncomfortable for “standing too close” to them? I asked him what the issue was since I was not aware and I didn’t seem to be close at all (especially after Covid, social distancing has been engraved in my head) and this guy continually pointed out how I was the only one making them uncomfortable. The only brown Latino in the vicinity of the “online pickup” line. Not only was this guy harassing me, but also trying to humiliate me by making a wild claim that I made the women in front of me uncomfortable. When I asked “did they tell you this?” The dude kept saying no but he could tell I made them uncomfortable. My point is, if you’re Latino or any person color, just save your money and go elsewhere because you're going to get racially abused by a dude who looks like Matthew Walsh. I canceled my subscription to the Best Buy program and canceled my credit card with them, nothing is worth being racially harassed and abused.
