- AWAllison WagnerOct 8, 20255.0This review is ONLY for the wonderful service I was provided by Brian Fine manager of Verizon in Newport Oregon. Brian went out of his way for several days trying to make a bad situation right that should have never happened and would not have happened if Verizon was the same company it was even just 10 years ago. Now trying to get any issue resolved via the phone line is like talking to a brick wall. I couldn’t even get through to a person because of my issue it was ridiculous. Brian was amazing though and spent TWO hours on hold with the billing call center for me where they tried over and over again to not help me and pass blame onto me. Thankfully Brian kept at it and even though the company was scamming me for hundreds of dollars and all I wanted was to 0 out my account and call it even they finally after two hours relented a little bit to a $21 credit. Are you kidding me? I’m not even trying to get money back for the fraudulent charges. I just wanted it to be 0. Instead of the slap in the face of $21 credit Brian was able to get me a $200 credit and I told him even though that did not get me to $0 I was willing to pay the remainder at that point which was around $100. What a disappointing company Verizon has turned into. Will never be a customer again. But if you are and you need help. Brian is your guy. He was awesome and even was helping people around me as he was on hold. Not many people are as good at their job as him. He really cared and tried to help people I sincerely want to thank you Brian for going to bat for me with all the hurdles they put in your way for treating every customer who came into your store well.. If Verizon loses the good ones like you, they have no hope. Thank you again.

When it was my turn I was very satisfied with the service I received. I have had less than stellar experiences with Victra stores, so we are lucky to have Omar in the Newport store.
