  No customer service. Called on two separate occasions to arrange a load to be picked up. In both cases was told to show up at the office in the yard pick up the load and pay for it there. Arrived at the scale shack and was informed I needed a CB radio to go into the yard. I was not told this on either of my two phone calls to the office prior to my making arrangements with my crew and rental equipment. And end result was loss of expense for rental equipment my time and expense in fuel to drive out to the site just to be turned away. As a follow up to the above visit.... Within two days management discovered a disconnect in communications between the yard and dispatch who was not aware of the CB radio requirement. I was contacted and asked to return, there I was met by a very pleasant gentleman from sales who was extremely apologetic and escorted me to pick up the load. Even the yard supervisor played a role in bringing down my rock to a location near the parking lot. My thanks to the dispatchers, sales, and the yard boss for going the extra mile to make this right. Good customer service is alive and well at River Bend Materials.
