I absolutely will never buy from Best Buy Canada again! Waited a month for the first delivery just for my appliance to show up dented an scratched, requested a replacement just for that one to come in dented and scratched worst. When asked if I wanted compensation they offered me $100 gift card. Worst experience ever! Never again!

Very unpleasant experience with Manav who claimed he was the supervisor. I went to return an item I purchased online and he claimed I opened the package. I told them that was how I received it from the warehouse and he said they would never send me an item without the seal or security tape, implying that I tampered with the package. I paid 2500$ and he told me it was my fault and I should've returned it sooner if I didn't want it, it was shipped two days prior.... I tried to reason with him for about 30 minutes but he told me "there is no point, you cannot change my mind". It was a humiliating and degrading experience. Horrible customer service when I did nothing wrong and he made me feel like a criminal.

Be very careful getting a cell phone plan. The store answers questions on behalf of the carrier that are not accurate (ie. the ability to pay off your device without penalty). You end up with recurring charges on your credit card which are difficult to cease (by design) such as device protection. In my opinion it is a sneaky way to squeeze out margin for something of little value.

Absolutely ridiculous customer service at Best buy windsor. We stood in the store for 45+ minutes without a single employee acknowledging us-and this was on a normal day, not during any holiday or special rush. Only three representatives were working, each tied up with one customer for over an hour, while everyone else was completely ignored. No effort to manage the line, no attempt to assign help, no communication at all. After waiting over an hour, we left the store without ever being able to discuss what we came in for. If you can't staff your store properly or recognize customers who've been waiting that long, you shouldn't be open. It waste of time.

Attention to anyone purchasing electronics or appliances: This is usually where you expect a complaint, but this is the complete opposite. I have never experienced such outstanding customer service as I did at the Walker Road Best Buy in Windsor, Ontario. The manager, Bri, has an incredibly positive, bubbly, and genuinely funny personality, and she went above and beyond to help resolve a complicated store-order issue. For four weeks, dealing with online support had been frustrating and unproductive, but the moment I walked into the store and worked with Bri, everything changed. She guided me through the process and, almost instantly, I received real progress and responses from online support. The staff clearly support her, but she truly stands out as the kind of manager every store should want. She should be retained, trusted to train new employees, and given opportunities to grow within the Best Buy organization. I say this as a retail manager myself—I would honestly love to recruit her, but she brings so much value and positivity to this location that it would be a loss for Best Buy if she weren’t there. She demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and handled a difficult situation with professionalism and empathy. In contrast, I learned through online forums that Best Buy’s “live agents” are often AI systems presenting themselves as human representatives (even using names like “Bill”). None of my previous online conversations or requests for notes were documented, which left me in a stressful situation just two days before the 30-day return window closed. Despite all that, I want to keep this review positive because Bri completely turned the situation around. She solved the issue and brought genuine positivity to what had been a very frustrating experience. Thank you so much, Bri. I truly appreciate everything
