My Oura ring was too big, so I went to exchange it. Raza was extremely helpful and professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. Thank you for the great service! If you go to Best Buy Eaton Center find Raza!

I thought about leaving a review like this last time, but definitely will this time. There is an employee here who has provided me “customer service” upon two different visits to this storefront, a middle-aged Indian man whose name I didn’t catch because I was in a hurry to leave after my purchase. I came in for one thing. One thing only. I browsed the on-ear headphones selection, and the employee approached to ask if I wanted assistance. I advised I was just looking for new headphones, and he said he could give me a “further discount”. I caught on pretty quickly when I agreed and he asked what carrier I was with. But when I let this employee know I wasn’t interested in switching my carrier, he KEPT ASKING like I was an idiot who walked in not really knowing what I wanted to buy. It is one thing to recommend a switch to a customer. It is another entirely to attempt to mislead one into walking out with a new cellular plan, and treating them like they’re stupid if they’re sure they’re not interested. When your purchase involves coercion, it is called a SCAM.

The service is ridiculous. I just want to buy an iPad and Apple Pencil, but the worker took me to the Geek Station and started promoting their AppleCare plan for 10 minutes, trying to convince me to buy a $26 dollar monthly, which is $312 one-year warranty that’s almost the price of the iPad itself. I said I didn’t want it, and then the worker tried to “trick” me with math by adding discounts to the plan. Since when did Best Buy become a marketplace full of bargaining? Is this part of their employee training—to mislead customers and push add-ons even after we clearly refuse? After purchasing, I asked for a bag for the iPad. He told me to go to Customer Service to get one. After spending $500 and already waiting 10 minutes to check out, he expects me to line up at another counter just to get a bag? Then why didn’t he take me to Customer Service to check out in the first place? The service was extremely bad. I don’t know how he was trained for this job. He showed no empathy toward customers—he just wanted to take the money.

I sincerely hope someone on your leadership team actually reads this, because your sales manager in the TV section desperately needs serious customer service training. His behavior was completely unprofessional—rude, dismissive, and spoken in an insulting tone. It was absolutely unacceptable. I will never return to this shop, and I strongly recommend that people go to other branches where the service is on a completely different level.

I am highly disappointed with the service I received at Best Buy and feel compelled to warn others. I purchased a phone from this store and was promised 1,000 minutes as part of my contract. I explicitly asked the sales associate, Vedant, a senior associate, if the minutes were included, and I even offered to pay for any add-ons. He assured me everything was included, but the minutes were not added as promised when the contract was finalized. I then spent 5 hours between Best Buy and Rogers support trying to fix this, only to be told I had to return to the store. I had already moved to a different city, so I had to travel 2 2-hour round trip to correct their mistake. Once I arrived, Vedant spent 5 minutes insisting he never said the 1,000 minutes were included—even though I asked multiple times and even said I was happy to pay extra for add-ons. He also tried to claim they couldn’t add $5 to the cheapest plan, as if I didn’t understand how the plans worked. When I pointed out that a $5 add-on could be applied, he suddenly went quiet. To make things worse, he disappeared and put a junior associate in front of me. I asked multiple times to speak to the manager, and they told me the manager was meeting until 4:00 PM. After waiting hours, the junior associate finally said that the issue hadn’t been applied correctly from Rogers’ side and that I’d have to file a complaint myself with Rogers, as if none of this was their responsibility. After all this time, they offered only a $100 cash gesture for the stress, time, and money wasted, without even fixing the core issue or adding the 1,000 minutes that were promised during the sale. This was misleading, unprofessional, and evasive. I lost an entire day, hours on the phone, travel expenses, and patience, all because someone didn’t do their job correctly and refused to take accountability. I will never buy from Best Buy again. Please think twice before trusting their sales team. The customer service after the sale is absolutely unacceptable.
