I have bought many things at Best buy over the years including when it was known as future shop. I actually went to them to purchase my new phone about 6 months ago. I did not buy the warranty but I dropped the phone and smashed the screen. When I went to see the geek squad they said that they could fix it. When they asked me about my warranty and I said I didn't have one. They said that I would have to send it into Google. I was happy to pay for the repair. I wasn't expecting it to be done for free but they told me that they would not fix it unless it was under warranty. Why go to a store that won't take care of you with after sales service. I see no need to buy anything else there. That is my last purchase from Best Buy.

We have had an awful experience with Best Buy. We purchased 2 e scooters for Christmas. Only one was delivered (Canpar). Not only did the delivery company not drop off the full order they also forged my husband’s signature. It has been 2 weeks and the second scooter has still not been found. I would never recommend Bestbuy due to their association with Canpar. What company employed a delivery service with an F rating on BBB and a 1 star on Google. So disappointed. The tracking number and investigation number have been given to Best-buy so still hoping they will come through before Christmas.

I want to sincerely thank Suj Krishnadasan, Store Leader at Best Buy Bay & Dundas, for his outstanding customer service and professionalism. From the very beginning, Suj took the time to personally listen to my concerns regarding a phone purchase issue and followed up consistently to ensure everything was resolved properly. He was transparent, respectful, and genuinely cared about making the experience right. Even months later, he honored his commitment and ensured the resolution was completed exactly as promised. It’s rare to come across a store manager who is this approachable, accountable, and customer focused. His communication, follow-ups, and willingness to go the extra mile truly restored my trust in Best Buy. Highly recommend this location, and especially Suj, if you’re looking for exceptional customer service. Thank you again for all your help!

I’m giving Best Buy 5 stars because of the amazing service I received from Manya. I visited the store about a week ago to purchase a KitchenAid mixer, and Manya assisted me during my first visit. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and she took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing me. Her attitude made the whole buying experience stress-free and enjoyable. After the item was delivered, I realized I wanted a different color, so I went back to the store to exchange it. Another associate initially helped me, but when Manya saw me again, she stepped in and personally assisted with the color exchange. That level of care and attention is rare to find. It’s not often you meet someone who truly goes above and beyond to help customers. Manya is a true gem and a great asset to Best Buy. Because of her kindness and dedication, my experience at Best Buy was excellent especially compared to other occasions when some staff didn’t seem very approachable specially when you ask something. Thank you, Manya, for making my experience so positive!

Really weird staff experience. This makes sense I guess if you understand the layout of this store. I went in to buy an SSD that the website said they had in stock. I go to the section where they sell the SSDs and did not see the item on the floor, nor the card you usually would take to cash to get the item. No employees around to help so I walk all the way to the front register with an alternate SSD since I thought there wasn’t any in stock, and the cashier tells me to check the section that I was just at, when I told him it wasn’t there, he told me to go to Geek Squad because they have it. I ask if they’re able to bring it from Geek Squad to cash because I just came all the way from that area. He said no, so I walk all the way to Geek Squad, the GS staff there brings out the item, begin transaction. As he is ringing me up, I tell him I will be paying half CF Gift Card, rest in cash. He said no problem. He gets an employee to ring up the gift card, and then when I have the remaining cash, he tells me they actually don’t accept cash at the Geek Squad til, and tells me I have to go to the front register to complete the transaction. I was guided back to the front where the transaction was completed. It is crazy they made me do a journey back and forth through the store to make one transaction due to the lack of help from the employees. Even crazier that they didn’t have the item I was looking for on the floor even though the website said they had plenty in stock. I’ve bought stuff from this store before with ease, but this experience felt so tedious and annoying that there just doesn’t seem to be a better way to communicate where items are, let alone have the said items on the floor and not hiding away. Also very weird there’s no signage that tells you to bring display cards for items in the computer hardware section to Geek Squad.
