    This happens a few weeks ago. I was asking for an opinion if I should switch to a new iPhone, a sales man tried to convince me to buy other models which I replied im not interested and he continued to be pushy and told me this new iPhone is not gonna be in stock until even end of December since it sells fast! I refused to order online and he just turned away with an attitude. And guess what, that iphone he was talking about was back in stock after a few days in store like dude I’m not dumb, I probably know apple better than you do🙄

    I came to the Apple Store because I spilled water on my iPad. THEY DID NOT help to fix my old iPad and only said to buy a new one, that’s for their tech support team. And for their sales team, after I bought a new iPad, THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG PENCIL THAT DOESN’T EVEN MATCH THE IPAD THAT I BOUGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. Who do you hire???? And I call them and they do nothing??!!!!

But today’s experience was on another level — it was unexpectedly meaningful for me. I came in with a small but very specific concern about an impact mark on my iPhone’s frame. To most people, it might seem minor, but it had been weighing on me for days. I wasn’t sure how serious it was, and the uncertainty made me extremely anxious. Spencer, the technician who helped me, turned that entire experience around. His assessment was clear, confident, and immediately reassuring. Within a few minutes, he identified the issue, explained everything with precision, and offered a repair solution that was — quite literally — the ideal outcome for me. Not just a “good” solution, but the perfect one for my particular concerns. What stood out the most was how he transformed my mood so quickly. I walked in stressed and worried, but I walked out genuinely relieved, grateful, and even unexpectedly happy. It’s rare to meet someone whose expertise and communication can have that kind of immediate emotional impact — but Spencer managed exactly that. Thank you to Spencer, and to the entire Yorkdale Apple team, for delivering an exceptional experience. This store remains my preferred Apple location for a very good reason. Highly recommended!

    I visited the Apple Yorkdale location this Tuesday afternoon specifically to try on the Hermès Apple Watch band, as this is one of the few locations that carries this collection. I was directed to the desk where a Specialist was organizing the bands. I waited for assistance, and while the Specialist opened the drawer containing the bands, he did not offer any further help or guidance. When I struggled to open or fit the band and asked for assistance, his only response was, 'You just opened it,' before immediately returning to organizing other products. This level of service was disappointing and well below the standard I expect from an Apple Store, especially when considering the premium nature of the Hermès product line.

    🚫 Total Disappointment with Apple and Their Trade-In Program in Canada! I recently purchased three brand-new iPhone 17 Pro devices for my family, trusting Apple’s highly promoted Trade-In program — and it has turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with the company. We sent in three phones in excellent condition: • iPhone 16 Pro (only 9 months old) • iPhone 13 Pro • iPhone 13 mini Apple initially offered $230 CAD for the iPhone 13 mini, but after receiving it, they suddenly “re-evaluated” the device and dropped the offer to just $80 CAD — with no valid explanation. I canceled the trade, expecting my phone to be returned and the original value to be respected. What followed was an absolute mess: • I did get the iPhone mini back, but never received the $230 CAD I was promised. • On top of that, I was hit with two unauthorized charges — one for $360 CAD and another for $480 CAD. • Worst of all, Apple kept my other two iPhones (the 16 Pro and the 13 Pro), worth roughly $1,190 CAD, with no refund, no explanation, and no communication. I’ve tried contacting Apple Support multiple times, but the experience has been nothing short of frustrating: generic answers, no accountability, and zero resolution. For a company of Apple’s size and reputation, this kind of treatment toward loyal customers is simply unacceptable. 💬 Summary: • Complete loss of trust. • Awful after-sales support. • Zero transparency in the Trade-In process. • Unauthorized charges and missing devices. 👉 If you’re thinking about using Apple’s Trade-In program in Canada — think twice. What seems like a simple and fair process can quickly turn into an expensive and frustrating nightmare.
