  Late post from March 2026 but still valid. The cellphone department at this location truly has a strong team. In my short time here as I was pre-ordering my new Google Pixel 10A the day before launch. I seen the great teamwork their team has and I'd like to highlight a few of them. Branavan introduced the Google phone for me and showed me it's not so different from the Samsung as it's also android but at a much more affordable price. Verdant was very patient and attentive with me with next day as I was purchasing my phone. There was a slight hiccup with the system and the length of time I had to wait unfortunately made my blood sugar drop. I started to shake and he very kindly offered me some snacks to help raise my blood sugar. In the end his kindness to another human being is what I wanted to let you as the employer be aware of. Last but not least Faisal the expert from Google. He was super down to earth and very knowledgeable about everything to do with Google. He took extra time to help me get acquainted with my new cellphone and I appreciate all his expertise help. All in all Best Buy you have a great cellphone department at this Yonge and Bay location. Please treat them kindly as they treat your customers.

  At closing time, staff in stores are usually rushing to get customers out and go home. However, I was in this Best Buy trying to compare TV options at closing time and TV section manager Rushill provided such courteous service explaining details of the different models I was asking questions about and I wasn’t forced or rushed into making a purchase. This is what customer service should look like everywhere. Thank you Rushill.

  Best Buy has severe fraudulent conduct. I bought a printer ($375) from their online shop, they charged me twice. When I called their customer service, they denied it and refused to solve the problem. Now they still has not refunded me the duplicated charge. I am going to report it to the police.

  Im here after 14 months of buying macbook. the boy said that i will get a discount if i do a protection plan(12 months) ...i have to pay 34$ every month and i agreed. Today, its now 14 month and when i check transaction history its still deducting money. Im going there again...lets see how they solve it..if it goes easy i will delete this review. Okey now this review is edited. Im here after contacting customer care. They cancel it..it was easy and also got refund(25$). But found out that that they set the protection for 5 years and i had to contact it to cancel it. Suggestion to bestbuy employee: please explain clearly you offered discount to me of 400$ but i have to pay 33$ every month for 5 years. Haha i can buy another macbook with that. I was unknown about 5 years protection plan and he told me it was 1 year. It was easy cancelation so i changed from 1 start to 3 star.

  Staff here are extremely rude, especially to students. The Apple technicians are great and will answer your questions with a smile, but when I went to check out an AirTag (which is held at the front counter), the teller gave me attitude. She was a young female of South African descent named Ari. She quoted the price at $30 so I agreed to purchase. The subtotal came to $44.05 after taxes, a 50% discrepancy. Rather than apologizing, she claimed it was because of taxes.. I’ve never heard of a 50% sales tax before?? The whole interaction was rude and passive aggressive, and she ended the interaction by telling me to search elsewhere for cheap. I get that it’s a min wage job but can you at least pretend you’re happy to be here?? It was also a very slow time of day, most staff were sitting on their phones… I work in hospitality and thus rarely write reviews, but this girl should not be working in customer service. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, I suggest management have a conversation with her. If you have further questions please reach out.
