Tried to go and buy a desktop computer today and was prepared to drop thousands of dollars and wanted to buy locally instead of ordering online. I drove all the way across the city to be ignored in the computer section for about 20 minutes asking employees who looked like I was bothering them if anyone worked in this section at all. One person said they were all busy (not sure doing what because almost every employee I saw appeared to be doing nothing but avoiding eye contact) after waiting about 5-10 more minutes I walked out an will but online like I should have in the first place. Not sure how this place keeps the doors open.

Went into the store looking for a drone and gopro. Fraser was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and beyond helpful in my decisions. Also a shoutout to Abbi on checkout. Both these guys deserve credit for outstanding customer service 👏🏻

I placed an order on Dec 23 for a new 98” TV, oven and microwave. On the day before delivery in December, I received an email stating my delivery was rescheduled to Feb 3, due to my oven not being in stock.
The week before my new delivery date, Best Buy informed me they exhausted their stock of the TCL Q7K I ordered and offered me a $100 gift card and a new choice of TV (lesser quality than the original). Upon acceptance of the lesser quality TV, I was informed it would be 2 months before getting said TV. I asked for another recommendation, and Best Buy cannot help me with a TV purchase anymore.
I have spoken to customer service, head office, home customer service. Not one dept was willing to satisfy the situation. Rather than offer gift cards, take accountability for your stock mismanagement and satisfy your customers. There used to be a saying that “the customer is always right”. Unfortunately now, capitalism rules. The company just ALWAYS PROFIT
Do NOT accept a rescheduled delivery day. Your purchase may just be used to fill someone else’s order and you’re out a good deal.
In the end, I’m out a great deal of a Tv and $275 in Best Buy gift cards. I’ll give my gift cards to the homeless and support local from now on. At least they only sell what they stock.
This will be the last time I ever purchase appliances from Best Buy.
