  I don’t know why I shop here…. Should just stick to online. Useless staff, no one helps. May as well be a pick up location only and save the labour

  I had a great experience at Best Buy (480 Progress Avenue). I purchased a new desktop PC on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Mahin was very helpful and knowledgeable in assisting us with choosing the right desktop and also provided us with a discount on the new PC, which we really appreciated. When we returned to pick it up, we realized our old monitor connection was not compatible with the new desktop, so we needed to purchase a new monitor. Daniela assisted us right away, helped us choose the right one, and also provided a discount on the monitor — which was greatly appreciated. David from Geek Squad was patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. He ensured all my data was transferred properly, allowed me to review the newly transferred files, and patiently answered all of my questions. He even helped load everything onto a cart and brought it out to our vehicle. We purchased the computer at 1:01 p.m. and picked it up fully set up at 4:30 p.m. Took it home, plugged everything in, and everything worked perfectly. Highly recommend this location for excellent customer service and great value!

  The in-store experience at Best Buy has really declined. Many staff members are no longer as friendly or helpful as before. They don’t greet customers or offer assistance, and often stay at their stations without engaging. I even noticed employees using their phones while customers were browsing. Very disappointing.

  I had an absolutely outstanding experience at the Best Buy across from Scarborough Town Centre, all thanks to Victor. From the moment I walked in, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. No pressure, no confusion — just clear explanations, patience, and excellent customer service. Victor took the time to answer all my questions, explained my options clearly, and made sure everything was set up properly before I left. You can tell he truly cares about helping customers and takes pride in his work. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with such a friendly and positive attitude. If you’re visiting the Best Buy Mobile at Scarborough Town Centre, ask for Victor — you won’t regret it. He turned what could have been a stressful experience into a seamless one. Absolutely wonderful service. Highly recommend!
