I had to change the delivery date for appliances so I went to appliances section for a sales rep, was sent to customer service, lined up and finally talked to the rep, said i need to talk to appliance, have them come over, and said they cant so she just started calling him instead, and sent me all the way to TV since he is with another customer. Then this last guy just said call the customer service number cuz it aint their business anymore, it's delivery subsidiary guys. Lol had a nice tour of the store. What a joke. Edit : called the number, they will have to email the store manager, store manager called me and told me to call the number. I am never buying appliances from BB again lol. Go to Costco.

I bought a laser hair remover for my wife for Christmas expecting it to work as advertised. It doesn’t. The sensor stays red and will not activate on her skin complexion, which makes the device unusable. This is an intimate product that normally makes direct contact with the skin, so we were careful. It never actually touched her skin. She only tested the sensor on her hand, it didn’t register, and we immediately put it back in the box. The product was never used, yet I was denied a return. Customer service was extremely unhelpful. I explained everything clearly and honestly, but there was no effort to understand or fix the issue. When a product can’t do its basic job and a company still keeps your money, that’s not right. With prices going up everywhere and companies making more money than ever, refusing to refund a product that can’t even be used feels unfair and greedy. Think about your own money. You could easily be in the same situation, stuck with a large ticket item you can’t return even with the receipt. I won’t do business with this company again, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either. Buy from a company that actually stands behind what they sell. Protect your money.

Do not buy it from Best Buy. Seriously, don’t. Do yourself a favor and open Amazon instead. You’ll usually get a better price, and the return policy is actually built for real life. I ordered computer parts from Best Buy, realized they weren’t compatible, and brought them back. Their response? “Not returnable once opened.” Cool. So how exactly am I supposed to confirm compatibility without opening the box, telepathically? The parts are untouched and in brand new condition. Yet somehow Best Buy is acting like I’m trying to return a used toaster I dragged through a swamp. Amazon will take back opened items. Costco will take back half-eaten snacks. But Best Buy can’t accept a brand new part that’s simply unsealed? Make it make sense. And let’s be honest: the only reason this legacy brand still exists is because Canada has so little competition in this space. On top of that, the customer service is awful. The attitude is even worse. Please stop acting like you’re selling Rolexes. You’re scanning computer parts and reciting a script. I can only take solace in knowing you’ll end up where failed businesses belong, like Hudson’s Bay: in the ash-heap of history.

I don’t recommend this branch. I stand over one hour in the line to return my package. It was like the staff in customer service were in training in Christmas time; very busy days! Just 2 gentlemen were standing in customer service and made a long line up! I felt they intentionally made a big line that customers become tired and change their decision for returning!!!

I visited the Best Buy Aurora location on December 13, 2025. I have been a loyal customer and frequently shop at this location, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I purchased a 2TB SSD less than a week ago. At the time of purchase, I specifically asked the cashier whether I could return the item if I decided not to keep it. He confirmed verbally that I could and clearly stated that I had until January 13 to return it. When I returned to the store, I was told by another cashier that the item could not be returned because it was “open box.” I explained that my receipt does not mention any restriction related to open-box items and only shows a 31-day return window. The cashier then called the manager. The manager told me I should have checked the return policy online, which makes no sense since the item was purchased in-store, and no such limitation was communicated verbally or printed on the receipt. Instead of honoring the return, the manager suggested marking the item as defective and offering store credit, which I did not request or agree to. I simply wanted to return the item based on the return policy shown on my receipt and the assurance given at purchase. This situation felt misleading, unprofessional, and unfair. Policies should be clearly stated at the time of purchase, not changed afterward. Due to this experience, I am extremely disappointed and hesitant to shop from bestbuy. I expect better transparency and customer service from Best Buy.
