    I would rate 0 if I could. Absolutely misleading information they provide and extremely rude customer service. They make you go into a plan with lies and then say after 2 months "Now I'm telling you" with a rude tone. Avoid purchasing anything from here.

    Misleading “2‑Year” Warranty Sold to a Disabled Senior I’m a 63‑year‑old disabled customer on permanent disability, and I rely on my Apple AirPods Pro 2 for medical appointments, therapy, and support meetings. I bought them at Best Buy in May 2023 and was offered what the cashier called a “2‑year extended warranty” for $84.99. I was never told this “2‑year” plan would run at the same time as Apple’s own 1‑year warranty, meaning I was really only buying ONE extra year of coverage for $85. When the right earbud stopped taking a charge, I went back with my receipt and original packaging expecting a smooth warranty process. Instead, I was told the plan was “expired” and that there was nothing they could do. When I pointed out that I was sold a “2‑year extended warranty” and was never told it overlapped with Apple’s warranty, they hid behind policy and fine print instead of doing the right thing. This is exactly the kind of misleading “protection” that takes advantage of people who trust the salesperson at the cash, especially older and mentally disabled customers like me. If I had known the truth, I would NEVER have paid $84.99 for just one extra year of coverage. I have shopped at Best Buy for decades, but this experience has destroyed my trust. If you’re offered a “2‑year” protection plan here, ask very direct questions: does it start after the manufacturer’s warranty, or at the date of purchase? How many EXTRA years am I actually buying? Get the answers in writing. Until Best Buy is honest and transparent about how these plans work – and makes this right – I cannot recommend them.
