    I met Mr. Amin the repair specialist. He was awesome 🤩. He has explained each and every aspect of my laptop. He was so kind and helpful. I got the $20 membership from Best Buy. I believe this is going to help me with my all computer and electronic gadgets. Amin deserves a great token of appreciation.once again he is awesome 🤩

    My son and I went in to Best Buy in the North Gate mall. I was shopping for a security system for my company and a Bluetooth speaker. After 10 minutes of waiting around I went up to the front and asked 1of the 8! Employees behind the desk if they were closed. The response was “No we are renovating” I explained that I had questions about the products I was searching for but all of the employees were chatting behind the service desk. Laughing and playing around. I wasn’t the only customer looking for help. I try to shop local. But I think I’ll stick to the Internet before going back. Other times I’ve been in and asked question about products, the employees just look on thier phone. They have no product knowledge. Frustrating. I thought the owner should know about the waste of money spent on staff. Definitely no need for 8 people who just stand around

    I went to my local Best Buy to purchase a new computer after my old one crashed. I already knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, I stood by the laptops for a long time without anyone acknowledging me. Eventually, I went to the customer service counter to ask for help. I was told to wait by the computers and someone would assist me. I waited again. When I returned to the same staff member, I was told they were extremely short-staffed and that it was “Head Office’s” fault. When I mentioned going to Staples instead, I was told, “Sure, go ahead.” Very poor customer service. I reluctantly stayed, and finally a salesperson became available. It turned out to be the easiest $1,400 sale they’ll ever make. Then came the Geek Squad pitch for $20/month, which I clearly told them I did not want. I was told I’d have to pay $180 for data recovery — but if I signed up for an annual Geek Squad plan, in which case they’d waive the $180. I ended up paying for the annual plan with no data recovery. I was told to wait for a call to let me know when my computer was ready. Late the next day I decided to checked in; it still wasn’t ready. The following day (Friday), I was told my computer was ready — but they couldn’t recover my data because it was an Apple product, and they “can’t open Apple hard drives. Funny how that part never came up during the sales pitch. I recovered about 90% of my data myself — no Geek Squad needed. Between the poor service, the dismissive attitude, and the lack of transparency, I won’t be going back. I could have ordered straight from Apple, with the same end result....picked out my own laptop, with no customer service.
