Bunch of unprofessional people that don't care at all!
I bought 2 phones for me and my wife one of those told me that contract will be 140 with no connection fee.
As a result first bill was $350
Then they told me to pay it and I will get back credits on next month. I did so next bill was $250.
I spent there 11 hours.
Was there 4 times.
Talk to manager 2 times.
And it is still didn't resolved.
I just don't thinks anyone should put so much afford to buy a freaking phone.

I went in to pick up an online order that was ready for pickup (a mouse) and Nikki helped me. She asked all the required questions and started heading to the back to go grab the mouse but was stopped by a coworker to answer a question (no issues there). After helping her coworker, a random new customer came up (ignoring the line that was formed at the cash) and started asking Nikki about buying an IPad, and instead of telling the customer to wait a moment while she finishes her task with me, she goes and starts trying to sell him an IPad. After 10 min or so of chatting with that guy, she leaves him to think and she spots a new couple and starts fully helping them buy a TV (this second interaction was not prompted by the customer and she straight up just walked to them and asked them if someone had helped them yet). After spending another 10 min or so with the second set of customers she leaves them and goes to help her coworker with a customer at the cash but asks him to grab something from the back for her while she takes over the register (at this point I’ve been waiting 20 or so min for the damn mouse but I figured she asked her coworker to grab it and I can finally leave). The coworker comes out with a TV… for the people she was helping… when I’ve been waiting like an idiot at the cash for 20+ min at that point for probably the smallest thing bestbuy offers.
A few minutes later a new employee shows up (she seemed like she was starting her shift or something) and I asked her for some help and she was really nice and helped me out. It took the new employee 2 minutes total to verify my identity and give me my mouse.
This interaction was so bizarre and frustrating like why did I have to wait 25 min (not including the time waiting in line) to pick up an Item that needed 2 min to process?? I know I wasn’t being ignored because Nikki kept glancing back at me while she was helping all the other people so it just leaves me to think that she can’t be bothered with grabbing my item from the back and she just wanted to make commission or something (if they even do commissions at bestbuy).
Overall I left super frustrated by this experience and it left me not wanting to shop at bestbuy again. After reading through other reviews for this location, it seems like Nikki is a recurring problem for the barrhaven bestbuy…

idk what Best Buy is doing these days but it's not good. This is a teeny tiny store with very few things for sale, not what you might be thinking of when you think of Best Buy. Between WHATEVER this is and all their "Best Buy Express" stores, my opinion of this chain is rapidly diminishing and I look back on the days of Future Shop with fondness. They have better locations in Kanata and somewhere in the East end.

Shoutout to Safin (I hope I remembered properly) he is Boxing Day legend. Helped me efficiently and precisely on a very exhausting day. He deserves a promotion or a raise couldn't be happier with my experience today.
I am sensitive to being rushed or any stress and he made the experience very smooth and easy.
Also ordered the speaker I wanted and will pick up soon!
MAJOR SHOUTOUT!!!!

One of the worst Best Buy branches I have been to. This employee named Nikki tried to not honour the Best Buy Geek Squad terms for my TV, under which I was entitled to get free calibration. She said I needed to go to the branch that “promised me the calibration.” No branch promises the calibration; it is a policy and I had an email from Geek Squad. Unbelievable and highly unprofessional. Thank God I pushed for getting it done, after which she eventually said that she wouldn’t be able to help and that I needed to go to the Merivale branch. I am so glad I went to Merivale to get one of the best experiences that Best Buy has to offer.
