    Walked in looking for an Apple Watch charger. All associates were talking loudly among themselves with no attention being paid to customers. I felt that they weren’t interested in my business so I walked away and will look elsewhere

    I don’t usually post reviews but I just had to give credit where it’s due. The team at Best Buy is amazing and Azlan especially deserves a shoutout. He went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible and even helped out my family with a better deal. Super patient, friendly, and made the whole experience actually fun. It’s rare to come across that level of care these days. Highly recommend!

    TL;DR – Worst Issues • ✅ Representative took 2 hours and still sent service to the wrong address • ✅ Credit check done without my consent • ✅ Lied about internet speed and plan (promised 1.5 Gbps equivalent) • ✅ Wrong service installed in another city (Toronto) • ✅ Representative told me not to complain and blamed a “signed contract” he tricked me into • ✅ Unwanted messages sent to my personal phone • ✅ My personal data stored and shared on employees’ personal devices • ✅ Manager minimized everything as “a misunderstanding” and gave no guarantee they erased my data I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this store. On Thursday, October 16, 2025, a representative offered me what he claimed was a better deal for both phone and home internet. The process took over two hours, and in the end, he sent the service order to the wrong address. Without informing me or asking for consent, he performed a credit check, which is a serious breach of trust. He also lied about the internet speed and plan, repeatedly promising to match or offer something similar to my current 1.5 Gbps plan. This was completely false. On Saturday, a technician called trying to install a service in Toronto, which is when I finally realized the order was sent to the wrong location. Because we trusted what the representative told us, our internet got disconnected that same day, leaving us without service. When I went to the store and spoke with the manager, Xavier, the same representative contacted me and told me not to complain because I had “signed a contract.” He only got that signature after misleading me about the service, price, and speed. Even worse, after I told him I would no longer speak with him, he continued to message me on my personal device, even though I never consented to any further communication. This means my personal data was stored and used on an employee’s personal device, which is unacceptable. When I explained all of this to Manager Xavier on Saturday the 18th, he dismissed the situation as a “misunderstanding” and “lack of communication.” However, it is obvious that my personal information was shared between employees, and there is no proof that they deleted it from their personal devices. This experience has left me with no trust in this store, its staff, or how they handle customer data.
