  On Boxing Day, I bought a phone and a new Bell plan from Best Buy through a sales associate named Chirag(punjab,india). Within the 15-day Buyer’s Remorse period, I decided to return the phone because I didn’t like it. I had used the phone for only about one hour, and it fully met the return policy. When I went to return the phone, Chirag became upset and refused to accept it. He was clearly angry because returning the phone meant he would lose his commission. He spoke to me very rudely and made unfair assumptions, saying that “people from your group do this often,” even though I don’t have any friends or group who shop there. This comment was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. When I asked to speak to the store manager, he said that he himself was the manager, which later turned out to be untrue. Another employee told me the actual manager would be available on Tuesday. Instead of helping, another employee supported chirag’s behavior. After returning the phone, I asked for a SIM-only Bell plan. Chirag told me clearly that my monthly bill would be $40. However, when I received my first bill, I was charged $135, even without having the phone. I paid it. Then, just a few days later, another $109 was automatically deducted from my account in the same month. I contacted Bell customer service and explained everything. They confirmed that I had the right to return the phone under Buyer’s Remorse and that I should not have been charged extra. They also told me that my actual plan after the return is $85 per month, not $40. This made it clear that chirag had given me incorrect information. When I went back to the store again, he told me he had created a ticket and that my bill would update to $40 in the Bell app. That never happened. He continued to delay the issue, give false promises, and behave rudely. Overall, I followed all the rules and policies as a customer, but I was treated poorly simply because returning the phone affected the salesperson’s commission. I experienced rude behavior, false information, and billing issues that caused unnecessary stress and financial trouble.
