Was at Best Buy recently and got amazing service from Dua. She was professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help us and I was very satisfied with the service. I bought the product in store and before delivery got the order cancelled by calling Best Buy. And I got the email that I can go to the store anytime for the refund and everytime I been to store. I am not able to get the refund as they want to check with warehouse for the status of my order even though I got the call fron someone from Bestbuy the next day that I can go anytime for the refund. This is really frustrating and unpleasant experience for me as it’s about $1389 . Just right now I finished my call with Best Buy and the agent was not able to find the order. (Agent name ; Emily agent 7354774) . With this experience I am scared to buy from Best Buy any product.

I had one the worst shopping experiences here in this because of the bald person (I don't know the person's name ) at checkout counter on 26 December 25 around 9 am.
I wanted to buy 2 iphones outright so I went to checkout counter where the person told that I had go wait in line where people buy phones through carriers even though I specifically said I wanted to buy outright, not with a carrier.
So I went and 5-10 mins into the waiting a gentleman asked if I wanted to buy outright to which I said yes and he escorted me to the checkout and told the dude I met first to get the phone.
The dude took his time before coming to me. He looked not interested at all in wanting my business. After a while, he came with 2 iphones and billed it.
Before paying, I wanted to check the box, so I did. One box looked pretty banged up. So I asked him to replace it. He said he can't do that. "All of them are like that". Being the way he was to me, I didn't believe it and it felt INTENTIONAL. So I politely asked if he could check again.
He could have gone back and grabbed another one to compare. But No, he removed the item from the bill. Did I ask him to do that? NO. Did he ask me before doing that? NO. Just removed it so rudely and kept it aside.
Asked me to pay for just the one iPhone.
So, I told him to cancel the purchase to which he looked happy. Then, I left the store and took my business to Waterloo bestbuy.
It was insulting what happened. Such obnoxious people should not be placed in a position to interact with other people. It was horrible of you BestBuy Fairway

Went in and purchased an almost $300 pair of earbuds, I was unable to demo the earbuds at all but was told that I wouldn't be able to return them only exchange them. I bought them thinking, based on that information from the sales associate that I would be able to exchange them if I had an issue with them.
They were so uncomfortable that I only had them in for an hour before taking them back out again, made my ears hurt from the silicone. When I went to exchange them I was told that I couldn't exchange them unless there was a product defect, and that if I did it could only be for another pair or a different brand of the same value or more. So they wanted me to spend more money at there store if I wanted to exchange them.
This is not the only issue I have had with this store. The last time I was in to get a screen protector replaced as I have been paying monthly for a protection plan. They kept bouncing me around the store saying that another department would help me, had no stock of any screen protectors that would fit my phone, I had purchased the phone only a few months before from this very store. It took almost an hour to get my screen protector swapped out!
Best Buy does not stand behind their products, they do not adequately explain their return policies before a purchase is made and their service has often been slow. I highly suggest that people reconsider spending there money at this store specifically and Best Buy in general.
