    Feels like the service has really decreased over the last six months. Advisors don’t really know anything about the products that they are selling. Waited 20 minutes for somebody to find a Chromebook for me in the back room, and got home after purchasing it and it wasn’t even the one I had asked for.

    I bought a pair of Meta glasses from Harrsh at Best Buy. The service was outstanding from start to finish. He explained every feature clearly, demonstrated the product in real time, and answered all my questions with patience and confidence. I never felt pressured, only guided toward what suited me best. I walked in unsure and left completely satisfied. If you visit, ask for Harrsh—he truly sets the standard for excellent customer service.

    I had an amazing experience at Best Buy thanks to Sahar. She was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. She took the time to understand exactly what I needed, explained my options clearly, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Sahar’s professionalism and positive attitude really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone who is both efficient and so kind. Best Buy is lucky to have her, and I would absolutely recommend asking for Sahar if you’re shopping there.     Oh we tried to give benefit of the doubt but this is going out to the public now. Absolutely the most, Terrible customer service experience, they sold my wife a 3800$ pc and it broke within a month when we returned with the issue they tried to claim that we stole the power cord and they will charge us(it didnt come with a power cord) they picked up another pc same model and opened it to get the cord and sure enough it wasn't there. They then said oops maybe you didnt steal it... they then couldn't resolve the pcs issue in time so they gave us the new one as a replacement and 3 months later it broke as well. My wife needs her pc for corporate business and brought it in to be fixed under warranty they said it'll take a week maybe week and a half tops, two weeks later and nothing, they wont answer phone calls or my wife's emails. This is now impacting her business a lot and incurring stress on her and her clients, Im writing this as shes too shy to be confrontational about the situation, overall this customer service is truly some of the worst. Furthermore they seem tend to profile people based on a prejudice of attire, race, tatoos, and notify staff to follow you around the store over walkie talkies. Its rude and unprofessional. I will never ever buy a single thing from best buy especially this location. Id advise canada computers instead and other retailers for games and home electronics. Do not support this store, they wont properly support you.

    I purchased a laptop from Best Buy Kanata, Ottawa on January 27, 2026, and had a very bad experience. I specifically told the sales representative that I did not want an open-box item. She informed me that open-box laptops were available online only, not in-store. However, when I got home and opened the package, I noticed serious issues. The laptop came in two boxes: • The first box had no seal and was wrapped with tape • The second box’s seal was also broken I returned to the store immediately and showed this to the staff. The manager told me that open-box items are usually sent back to the manufacturer, but despite that, I was given a laptop that was clearly not properly sealed. Because of this experience, I do not recommend this store. If you are buying electronics from Best Buy Kanata, please double-check the item and packaging carefully before leaving the store.
