    Rarely, during difficult times we find ourselves reluctantly having to endure in-store shopping while heartache and turmoil consume our lives. Having to do this myself, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to two very special employees, Stephen and a young lady, whom i was to emotional to remember her name, ( but between the two of you, you'll know who the both of you are ), treated me with such respect, dignity and humanity, it was a moment I'll always remember. Thank you both for your help, understanding and compassion. Traits not shown very much these days. Your peers and store owners should be very proud to have you both!! Never stop!!

    I needed a VERY common standard RCA (red, white & yellow) cable (always included with the purchase of a Beta, VHS or DVD player in the box!) to hook a VCR up to a flatscreen tv. A one point in time there was an entire isle dedicated to cables of different lengths, quality and type. After a 10min search for an employee. That employee then needed to "google" what the cable actually looked like and what it's use was, not just if there store had one in stock or not. The store that I thought was to be "Known" for audio video home theatre needs, failed miserably. Ended up finding the cable elsewhere. Stopping at Best buy was just a waste of time.

    Had the worst experience at this store today. I went to buy a fairly expensive item, and the salesmen—especially one of them—were extremely rude and humiliating. I asked if I could see the item, and he flatly refused, saying I wouldn’t even be allowed to touch the box. He was handling it carelessly with one hand. When I asked why, he said the item could only be viewed at the manager’s table. So I went there, and as soon as I arrived, the cashier immediately scanned the item. I clearly said that I wanted to see the box before buying and requested her not to scan it yet. She also told me that I wasn’t allowed to touch it. Then, thankfully, the manager came over and mentioned that the box wasn’t even sealed. She kindly opened it and showed me the item. That’s when I realized it was an open-box item, and the salesman had given me false information. I really should have noted down his name to file a complaint with the management. The manager understood my situation and even offered a complimentary item if I went ahead with the purchase. I thanked her but politely declined the offer. The salesman might have underestimated me, but my self-respect is more important than any sale. I will never return to this store or to Best Buy again and will happily purchase from other retailers where my dignity is respected even the prices are high there. Dear Best Buy, your store staff are seriously driving customers away. Just a heads-up!
