    Worst store u have ever been. Guilliana is the worst. I’m not coming this store ever again. Even though she had nothing to do, she said just a minute and got me waited for several minutes. Not welcoming at all.

    Bought gaming headphones here based on staff recommendation. The sound quality is poor. When I tried to exchange them, I was told I couldn’t — even though the receipt had no return policy listed and nothing was explained at purchase. Staff then said I should’ve checked the website for the return policy before buying an item in store. When I asked the manager for help, I was told to call head office because they “can’t do anything in store.” Staff and management couldn’t clearly explain their own policy, which made the experience feel unprofessional and disorganized. There’s no reason to shop here. It’s cheaper and far easier to just buy on Amazon. I won’t be back.

    Worst Best Buy experience of my life. Absolutely unacceptable. My family and I went to Best Buy Newmarket to get new phones and switch mobile plans. From the moment we walked in, it was chaos, disrespect, and complete incompetence. We specifically asked to speak with a Persian-speaking employee (Amitis), because communication mattered for us. We knew she worked there because on a previous visit she already refused to help us despite speaking Persian. This time, we asked another staff member to let us know when she’d be available. He told us to wait. We waited over an hour. While waiting, three other people were helped before us. Not once did anyone update us. After wasting an hour of our time, the same employee finally called us only to say that Amitis “wasn’t available” and had left. Conveniently. No heads-up, no honesty—just silence while we stood there like idiots. When we questioned this, the same staff member became aggressive and rude, saying: “Can I help you now or do you want to leave?” Absolutely shocking behavior. No professionalism. No respect. Eventually, another employee helped us with switching providers and leasing a phone for my little sister. We clearly asked if switching plans while leasing was okay. She said it should be fine. After we agreed and proceeded, she suddenly made calls and said it was not allowed—and that we now had to return the brand-new phone. So after hours of waiting, misinformation, and stress, they took the phone back. Nothing accomplished. Just frustration and wasted time. If you value your time, your money, or basic respect, DO NOT come to this location. Order online or go to literally any other Best Buy. I recommend Best Buy Richmond Hill.

    Stood at the geek squad for 50 mins. Was never acknowledged. Just stood there listening to an employee talk about how he should be fired because he whiped a costomers apple laptop by accident and only gave them a gift card as a sorry.

    I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Best Buy Newmarket on December 22, with delivery scheduled for December 27. Unfortunately, the delivery failed due to an internal address typo made by Best Buy (unit number entered incorrectly), despite my address being correct on the confirmation email. On the day of delivery, I fully cooperated, offered ID verification, and even showed the delivery team the official Best Buy email confirming the correct address. Nevertheless, the delivery was refused, and I was told it could not be corrected without Best Buy authorization. I was given only five minutes to contact Best Buy, which was unrealistic. I then went to the Newmarket store in person, where I spent a long time standing at Customer Service while staff attempted to fix an issue that was not caused by me. Despite explaining the urgency due to a pre-scheduled installation appointment, no immediate solution was offered. What made this experience particularly disappointing was the in-store treatment. When I requested to speak with the store manager, my request was ignored. I was redirected without notice and ultimately referred to a very junior employee with no decision-making authority. As a customer, I found this dismissive and disrespectful. Although the delivery was eventually rescheduled through escalation, the overall handling lacked accountability, professionalism, and basic respect for the customer’s time. As someone with over 30 years of experience in customer relations, I consider this far below acceptable service standards. I hope Best Buy reviews the training and escalation practices at this location, particularly how customers requesting management support are treated.
