    I made a pretty big purchase here a couple weeks ago and I had a wonderful shopping experience thanks to Pooria! He was super helpful and kind and honestly, he restored my faith in customer service!!! From the moment I walked in, he was approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. What stood out most was his patience and kindness. He made sure I felt happy with my purchase and didn’t rush me at all. It’s rare to come across customer service like that these days.     As a senior low tech lady, I have to say that this particular store has continually just had gracious sincere help. I’ve bought my laptop and my TV now I’ve just purchased a speaker and a microphone and a remote control and I just feel so comfortable coming in and asking my questions then finding people that are not trying to upsell me, but they’re truly hearing me and giving me very helpful solutions one person even helped to fix my laptop glitch without charging me a penny but today it was NAV and Jason and hi-fi to both of them and thank you very much.     Beware of the Geek Squad annual family protection plan. The Burlington location sold it to my in-laws as any member of the family could use but when I went to the Oakville location they said we had to have the same address. I specifically asked Burlington when I accompanied my in-laws to buy their computer if l, the son-in-law could use it and they said yes; no qualifications regarding same address.

    I had a great experience at Best Buy thanks to Will. He was very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and gave honest advice about what’s good and what’s not, which I really appreciated. This isn’t the first time Will has helped me — he also assisted me before when I bought a phone for my wife, and both experiences were excellent. Overall, the whole team at this location is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this store, and if you get the chance, ask for Will — he’ll take great care of you!

    Very disappointing experience at the Best Buy Burlington store, specifically with a team lead named Nigel. I purchased a pair of headphones from Best Buy in Montreal using Fairstone financing. Within 10 days, I received another pair as a gift, so I visited the Burlington store expecting a straightforward return within the normal return window. When Nigel saw the receipt, he initially told me the item could not normally be returned because it was opened, but that he would “make an exception” and issue store credit and I would have to pay off the Fairstone balance. My only response was to ask a simple clarification question about why I would need to pay off the financing when I was still within the return period. At that point, his attitude completely changed. He accused me of being “difficult” just for asking a question and refused to process the return. Throughout the interaction he was dismissive and repeatedly pushed the product back toward us across the counter, which made the situation uncomfortable in front of other customers. He then said he would speak with another manager and disappeared for about 15 minutes. When he returned, he gave a completely different explanation saying the return could not be processed because the purchase was made in Quebec. When we asked if we could speak with the other manager, he admitted he had not actually spoken to anyone. To make things worse, he kept suggesting that we should go back to Quebec to return the item, even after I explained that I live in Ontario. What should have been a simple customer service interaction turned into a very uncomfortable experience. If the explanation from the beginning had simply been that opened headphones cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, we would have understood and left immediately. Instead, the reasons kept changing and the situation escalated simply because I asked a basic clarification question. Customers should never be made to feel like they shouldn’t ask questions. Unfortunately, this interaction left us feeling embarrassed and shaken in the store. I hope the store reviews the interaction that took place at the returns counter between approximately 7:10–7:45 PM 12 Mar 2026
