We had another outstanding experience with Mack at Best Buy. We recently added an additional phone line and purchased two new phones, and once again, we were blown away by his professionalism, patience, and knowledge. Mack takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers every question, and makes the entire process smooth and stress-free. He is truly one of a kind, and we won’t deal with anyone else for our phone needs. He absolutely deserves recognition and a shout-out for the exceptional service he provides—Best Buy is incredibly lucky to have him, and he deserves a raise! Thanks Mack, hope you had a great Christmas and New Year !!!!! 😀

We've had repeated issues with mobile phone availability and communication at this Best Buy location. There is no way to check carrier-specific phone stock online, and the call centre does not contact stores to confirm availability. As a result, customers are left driving to the store just find out a phone isn't in stock. In both my own experience (fall 2025) and a recent visit by mom and I, we made trips to this location only to be told the phone wasn't available, with no follow-up or notification system in place. Even after submitted a request to be contacted and having my info written down by staff, no one ever reached out. Best Buy seriously needs better inventory visibility or a notification process for mobile devices. The current setup wastes customers' time and is extremely frustrating.

I bought a laptop from this location, and I was given wrong information by their salesperson Shashwat. He talked me into getting a best buy protection plan for his commission, and now I am getting to know that if I cancel it, I have to pay an amount upfront. He also told me that I will get free 3 years antivirus alongwith the plan, but did not tell me that if I choose to opt out of the plan within those 3 years, the antivirus will also get cancelled. So basically I am paying 30 dollars a month for the antivirus now and I ll have to pay that for 3 years. I would not recommend visiting this location like this where employees like Shashwat will talk you into buying stuff just for their commission. I wish there was an option to give a rating in minus for such people.

In March 2024 I bought a refurbished phone for my daughter. Roughly spent $250. I bought their insurance plan which covers damages at a cost of $7.90/mo. So close to 80.00 now I have paid. On New Year’s Eve I call BB Canada and explain to a gentleman that the phone was dropped a week prior and my daughter needs to go and get a new one. I also explain she doesn’t drive and ask can she go anywhere and I was told yes as long as it is not express. She is one disability and takes a great deal of energy to go out and about. She travels up to the mall and is told they can’t do anything she has to go to the Geek Squad and there is a fee. After several hours of trying to get through automated process, people hanging up on me, I finally spoke with someone who explains, the 200.00 fee is a processing fee that once we send the phone in they will then send her a new one. What? So I have paid 80.00 so far in an insurance plan to cover a 200.00 + phone to get replaced if damaged and now they want me to pay another 200.00 fee. So I said to the guy, that makes no sense at all, that I might as well just go and get a new phone (refurbished) than paying them another 200.00. He replied, “ yes, I see what you mean.” So why am I or anyone else paying for an insurance plan when the plan doesn’t actually cover shit? The 1st time I spoke on New Years the gentleman not once said anything about a service fee or the cost or not once needing to send it through the geek squad. This is an absolute rip off of money. DO NOT PAY FOR A INSURANCE PLAN!!! I am so disappointed in Best Buy trying to convince me that this makes sense when clearly, no it doesn’t! Best Buy you need to do better! I will definitely think twice now about going and shopping there in the future and will tell everyone not to buy the insurance plan on anything.

This Best Buy has been my go-to since 2021. I’ve come here for almost all my tech needs and wants, and I’ve always felt good about supporting this store. But with every visit lately, the customer service seems to be dying a little more. On my last visit, I came in with a couple of friends to ask about deals on some electronics. Multiple blue-shirt employees walked past us and not one person stopped to ask if we needed help. After about 30–40 minutes of browsing, we finally had to call someone over, who then called someone else to assist us. A lady came by, I clearly told her we were planning to buy a couple of items, and she said she’d be happy to help. She went to check the first product, came back, told us it was out of stock, said “sorry guys,” and just left. No alternative, no follow-up, no effort to help us with the rest of what we needed. It honestly felt like everyone was just trying to get through their shift and go home, not like a team interested in helping customers or making sales. As a regular customer who chose this store for years, I left feeling sad, frustrated, and honestly reconsidering whether this will still be “my” Best Buy going forward.
