- LBL.M. BumsteadOct 8, 20253.0In September 2024, I bought an Insignia top loading washer from Best Buy in Barrie. This past August it began to leak water onto the floor during the rinse cycle. If you buy an Insignia product, I strongly recommend you to purchase the Protect Plan they offer as you will need it. You'll need it because your average appliance repair guy will not be able to get the parts to fix your machine. Because it was still within the year, I had to find someone to come get this washer and physically bring it back to the store. To Best Buy's credit, they refunded me the purchase price and I bought an Amana top loader instead. Amana is made by Inglis and is fixable. Whirlpool and Maytag are also good choices.
