I came in to trade in my iphone 13 for a 17. I was initially told that my trade in value would be 230. After it was inspected, the trade in value was lowered to 140. I was fine with this because I know the phone is older and it was still more than I was expecting. After someone else came into “inspect” it (not sure why they needed someone else to come look), I was told that I would only be given 40 dollars for the phone lol. I don’t think people are still buying iphone 13s these days….I assume the trade in value is for parts. I left and went to apple at mapleview instead. they offered me the full 230, and were shocked how low best buy offered for the condition of my phone. if you need to upgrade your iphone, skip best buy and just go straight to apple. seemed like maybe they end up selling it to apple for the trade in after you sell it to them. they probably would have pocketed 190 dollars from me. scammers!!!

A bit (actually more than a bit) disappointed with the so called PRICE MATCH policy. Booked LG 55QLED85A TV to be delivered at home, incidentally found the exact same TV at costco but for 250 dollars less price. Despite showing all the proofs that I could and convincing best buy staff that it is the exact same TV, they just refused to match the price. I had to go through the hassel of getting the TV from COSTCO and return the TV delivered to my home simply coz best buy didn't do the price match. I gained 250 dollars after decent hassel, but wondering what did best buy gain?

Good luck getting help here. Literally go to another Best Buy and they will do what you ask of them to help when this location will refuse.

I had a very frustrating experience with Best Buy’s Ancaster location. I recently purchased a TV from them, and at the front desk I noticed the employee assisting me with check out was very aggressive in handling the TV. I didn’t say anything at the time as I assumed he knew the threshold of force with which the product can be handled. Sure enough when I got home, the screen was cracked. I had to borrow a friends vehicle to pick this TV up as I don’t have one big enough. This vehicle wasn’t available to me when I brought the TV in for exchange which resulted in me having to rent a van in order to make the exchange. Furthermore, the staff was very unapologetic and didn’t seem to care about the situation they caused.
