This location typically has only a select few video games for sale in stock. On multiple visits, they had only 5 PS5 games and around 10 Xbox games to choose from. Everything is marked up substantially compared to the competition like Walmart or Amazon. They do offer a price match, but you would literally need to price match everything at Best Buy, which takes too much time.
You're better off going to the competition at the already lower price.
It's unfortunate because Best Buy fills a specific shopping niche like Toys R Us once did. If Best Buy does not pick up their slack, Best Buy will be another business that fails and does not have a direct successor.
Ideas for Best Buy: Expand the toy section substantially (half of the store) to become a new version of Toys R Us, add in used games and systems like a Game Stop/Vintage stock, and offer physical media (Blu-ray/4k) online only like Target.
Norman location, please just ensure your inventory is stocked up.
Let's make Best Buy great again!

Very helpful customer service. The staff went above and beyond to get my screen protector installed. Even going as far to send me a new one as they couldn't get it right in store. I'll be going back for sure

On Black Friday I go onto bestbuy.com and they have the Bluray player I want on sale for $200, down from $300. I want to buy it but I see an open box one in excellent condition for $130ish so I get that one instead. The open box order gets cancelled on me, so I go check the website that says it's in stock, so I try and order the $130ish dollar open box player a second time. The second order also gets cancelled, and now the new one on sale for $200 are now out of stock...
I go back to the site a few days later and see an open box one in excellent condition is for $178 so I buy it along with the extra Geeksquad warranty. It arrives in a slapped together box with some inflated bags for padding and the player tossed in to bang around loosely. The Bluray player still has the power cord plugged in, and no remote, no box, nothing else included. The "excellent condition open box" Bluray player looks horribly beat up like I would have been better off going to a dodgy yard sale or a pawn shop. The guy at the site plugged it in and it was dead and wouldn't turn on. It's also a 2023 model. See photos
I go into this Best Buy and speak with a supervisor at customer service and politely explain this mess. The solution? Return this one and pay full price for a new one they have in stock. I'll pass thanks!
Update: I was curious and checked the website for the same model open box the next day after returning it. Looks like there's an open box model in "good" condition now available from the Norman location. Is this the one I just returned yesterday!? Yikes
Update 2: I messaged the reply to my original post. The solution offered was to spend $269.99 on a new player and get a $70 gift card so that I'd get the original player for the sale price... Let me get this straight. You give a customer a terrible experience then the solution offered is to see if you can generate an even bigger sale? Absolutely not
