    I am saddened by my recent experience with this company's Customer Care which should be renamed to CWDC customers we don't care. File a complaint 2 days before Christmas and it is now 1/10/2026 No resolution Waiting on hold for 45 minutes and no answer and can't finish this I am so discussed

    CAR SPEAKER INSTALLATION - Do NOT use!!! I purchased back speakers for my son’s truck on 11/22/25 for his Christmas present. It was scheduled to install on Dec 27, 2025. On the way up to Best Buy, they asked if it was front or back speakers through text. My son arrived for his appointment and was informed that the two guys who scheduled the appointment didn’t schedule it for four hours and they wouldn’t be able to install it that day and booked it for two weeks on 1/11/26. I called corporate to complain being we live one hour away, corporate is in India and wasn’t able to assist. The man working at Best Buy said that there was not a code in the system when you schedule back speakers to take up four hours. Fast forward to today, 1/11/26, our appointment was at 1:30. We drop the truck off and receive a call on our way home that they weren’t able to install it due to the plastic being brittle. It’s a 91’ Chevy and I understand that but mind you, the same man had installed the front speakers on this less than a month earlier. So 49 days later and we still do not have the speakers installed. The man argued with us for 15 minutes and blamed corporate about the piece being brittle and not being able to touch it when it was suggested they look at the vehicle when the appointment is being made to ensure this isn’t an issue.

    This should be one star but the employees were great and the manager was super helpful. I purchased two open box discounted PS5 controllers. I took them home and sure enough both were not usable due to extreme stick drift. This needs to be a tested prior to putting them on the floor to sale to customers. Lucky I didn’t have to drive far but for others who live and hour away this would have not been fun. Great employees just terrible policy this needs to be fixed don’t put junk on the floor it takes two minutes to test a controller. Which will save Best Buy from outwardly looking like they don’t care about their customers. Employees get 10 stars for being professional and helpful.

    I purchased a laptop on September 2nd. The sales manager told me that I would receive a 90 price-match guarantee if I purchased the $180 protection plan. He confirmed that it would cover Black Friday deals, so I committed. I watched the sale of the laptop continually to make sure I would receive a partial refund for the full-price purchase. When I saw that I could receive $450 back on Black Friday, I was denied the price match guarantee because they only are covered for 60 days. When I went to cancel my protection plan membership, I was only given a partial refund because it was past the 60 day limit. I should have received a $630 refund, but I only received $130 all due to misinformation. I feel that I was taken advantage of by the Sales Manager of Geek Squad at this location. I unfortunately cannot call the store because they do not take direct calls, and I cannot go in person because I live out of state. Whatever you do, do NOT go to this location, because they will surely nickel and dime you for your money with no remorse.

    TLDR; A simple 5 minute find turned into a 20 minute scavenger hunt due to Sales Associate Laziness (Chris from computers) Came in Saturday 11/29. Came in for 1 thing, USB C to C 4K or 8K video transfer cable (For my USB C monitor). Walk in, host in front directs me to computer section for more guidance. I go up to Chris to ask if they have a 4K USBC cable. Interrupts me and goes “No one makes 4K transfer cables”.. okay. I ask anything that can transfer USB C TO C laptop to monitor, “yeah it’s over there on the far wall” -proceeds to look down at his phone. Store was dead, all sales associates were standing doing nothing on their phones or the computer monitor and had no decency to just help me find 1 cable. A simple 5 minute find turned into a 20 minute scavenger hunt due to sales associates laziness. Ended up going home to buy it off Amazon and had no rude customer service along that way.
