I went to the store with an issue that was unresolved via Verizon consumer service rep for over 5 hours- no exaggeration.
I walked in and Jack greeted me and started working on reactivating my phone (which was inadvertently deactivated 5 hours earlier) and activating my daughter’s new phone in Florida while on WhatsApp video.
He was so efficient I was speechless! He walked us through all the steps to get us up and running in less than 30 mins.
Amazing customer service, very knowledgeable and thorough!

I want to share my experience switching from T-Mobile to Verizon—because while the transition itself was far from smooth, one person completely changed how this story ended.
The truth is, I ran into three separate issues during the switch. Each one required multiple touchpoints with customer support, and unfortunately, I was met with layers of confusion, miscommunication, and a lack of ownership along the way. At more than one point, I seriously questioned whether moving to Verizon had been a mistake.
That changed the moment I walked into the store and spoke with Jack, the Assistant Manager.
From the start, Jack was different. He didn’t rush me, dismiss my concerns, or pass the buck. Instead, he listened—really listened—and took the time to fully understand what had gone wrong. He showed genuine concern, strong product knowledge, and most importantly, ownership of the situation.
Jack methodically worked through each issue, explained what was happening in plain terms, and rebuilt my confidence step by step. He followed up, made sure nothing fell through the cracks, and treated my experience like it actually mattered. In an environment where customer service can often feel transactional, Jack was a breath of fresh air.
I don’t say this lightly: without Jack’s help, I likely would have walked away and stayed with T-Mobile. His professionalism, patience, and commitment completely changed my perception of Verizon and turned a frustrating experience into a positive one.
If Verizon wants to know what great in-store leadership looks like, Jack is it. He represents the brand the way customers hope it will be represented—especially when things go wrong.
Because of him, I’m now confident in my decision to be with Verizon.

The employees at this store are great and very helpful in purchasing a new device but my issues have come with their management and customer service. We switched from ATT to Verizon years ago because we were promised a "local account manager". The first manager we had was great and even came to our office to set up our phones. When he left the company, we never heard from anyone else and I assumed that position had been eliminated. We have recently been working through some billing issues. When you call the 1,800 business line you get a different answer from everyone you speak to so I went by the my local store for help. The manager at the store couldn't resolve the issue so he gave me the number of the local account manger, Chad. I was very excited by this as I thought this position had been eliminated. I spoke to Chad a couple of times and I thought he was going to help. He initiated the process but that's where it ended. He has not returned any calls, texts or emails for 4 weeks. If you are a business thinking of switching to Verizon for the promise to personalized local assistance, that might not be the case long term.

Very disappointed in the way we were treated today. We felt like they thought we were just dumb. We were having trouble with viruses
One girl just said sit down by the door and she took my phone and went to a desk across the store and started deleting items. This was probably fine but she clearly didn't want us over there. Another guy asked to help my husband and started out pretty friendly but quickly helped another person at the same time because he wanted a new phone (while deleting apps from my husband's phone). We have never been treated like this before at the Lawton store.
