- RBRita BurchamJan 14, 20225.0JCMH Hospice provided care, comfort and dignity to my mother during the last 10 weeks of her life. She was in a nearby assisted living facility and the staffs worked closely to see that mother was well cared for. I live about 150 miles from Altus, and the nursing staff, the chaplain, and the case worker kept in close contact with me- one nurse even sent me a selfie of her and my mother. We were in and out of the office and the facility, unannounced, and we're always pleased, if not in awe of what we saw and experienced. When mother passed, the nurse came in the wee hours of the morning to take care of final details and then stayed with us until the funeral home arrived to take mother's body away. I can't say enough good things about this hospice and it's service.
