  VCA animal hospital in Springfield.... I cannot say enough. We called for an emergency appointment and they said they could get us in at 3:40pm. I explained we wouldn't be there until after 4pm. They not only took us but we didn't have a wait. Even after an unexpected allergic reaction they ensured there were no insane extra charges. After the weekend we had with our fur babies.... they gave us peace of mind. So much that I'm switching our pets to them for primary care. From the lady that answered the phone and answered my 100 questions to check out.... Everyone was so patient, caring, and attentive through everything. Dr. Bruce is HANDS DOWN the best

  I have ten outgoing calls in my phone's call history that I can prove, trying to get my cat's emergent ear surgery scheduled. I have one missed call and voicemail from the surgery scheduler, trying to schedule a NEUTER on my already neutered cat, which should be in his medical file since he's been to this clinic three times already. I've been calling since Friday (March 6th) trying to get a hold of someone to schedule a surgery. First, they had my wrong phone number. Then they lost the original estimate for surgery that they gave me at his exam a couple of weeks ago. Then they sent me an estimate for a neuter, which is the incorrect surgery. I've left my name, phone number, email, and cat's name MULTIPLE times, and yet they can't seem to get a new estimate to me, and there's always some reason why I can't talk with the surgery scheduler. They only have one "surgery scheduler" and she regularly attends surgeries and is unable to answer the phone. If my cat were not in an emergent position and I had already paid for the diagnosing exam, I would definitely go somewhere else. After this surgery (if it ever even happens and my cat doesn't die from infection in the meantime), we will be going elsewhere. Totally unprofessional and a total run around.
