Extremely rude and impersonal but arguably the best care your pet can get for the money in the area. If it's a matter of life or death take your pet here, anything else take them somewhere else For context I spent ~$1,600+ over the course of 6 months with VCA, and told them I needed another ~$400 worth of procedures done BEFORE the holidays because my job is very busy during the holidays, wouldn't have time during. I had a previous balance of $117 left over (for a fecal sample check of all things, insanely overpriced to look at the contents of a turd), told them I'd pay that and the ~$400 all at once, if they could schedule me in BEFORE the holidays. They didn't, then rudely called me multiple times during work hours or while I was sleeping to go to work (2nd shift) in the middle of the Holiday season etc, then threatened to send me to collections over not paying that $117, just 6 days before Christmas, when the reality of the situation is if they hadn't blown me off and refused to schedule me BEFORE the holidays like I asked, they'd have had over $500 additional dollars of mine not just that $117. It wasn't an issue of the schedule being full either, they told me they had plenty of availability but "only X person can schedule it" then treated it like they didn't give a shit if I got in there when my schedule would allow me to or not They don't care about you or your personal life or really even the health of your pet, they just want your money above and beyond everything else, yet somehow won't work with you and your schedule for you to be able to spend money with them/pay them back, then have the nerve to threaten to send you to collections over what amounts to less than 10% of all the money you've spent with them previously. Like I said find a different vet unless it's literally life or death

I only had enough money to cover the office visit so they were so sweet waived my dogs exam fee and used that money to give my dog (14) days worth of antibiotics and then (14) days worth antiflamatory medince. She needed it. That was so wonderful of them .. Thank You

Late last night, I discovered a large tick on my small dog. I waited until this morning when VCA Northwood Animal Hospital opened. I walked in & Abby was super quick to help. What my husband & I couldn't accomplish in several panicky hours (this was our first tick situation), Abby had it removed in less than a minute!!!!! I am so thankful that she was there and available to help me. Our vet recently retired & I had been praying to find a new vet with as much love for animals as our former vet had. I believe I just found our new vet to care for our fur babies 🥰
