- EGEmma GambleJul 21, 20251.0Went in to get my macbook fixed. I got a call the next day it’s done, great. I book my appointment to get it picked up and this young boy hands it to me and after around 5 seconds of scilence he says “want a run down of what happened” I of course say yes and told me they just ran some things. I try to turn on my macbook and it won’t so i tell him and they take it to the other room. He comes out 5 minutes later to NOW tell me that they couldn’t turn it on that it is a motherboard issue to take it somewhere else?? I’m just confused why i wasn’t informed about this before hand let alone letting me walk out with a still broke computer that i would not of known untill i left. Very unprofessional.

We were shocked when he said there was no charge for the service. He was helpful and got us on our way quickly. We will always use Best Buy in the future for our electronics needs.

The "customer service" people send you to Geek Squad since apparently they can't do anything for anyone. What they dont tell you is they set appointments. Not that it matters bc they just allow any random person walk up and handle their issues. Understaffed, not knowledgeable and expensive. Huge waste of time unless of course you like wasting time and money.
- ZMZach MarshDec 8, 20101.0Overpriced!! I have met so many people who have had work done that didn't fix their problem(s). They wanted 60 to look at my hard drive and 1500 to get the data off. No that wasn't a typo, yes they wanted fifteen hundred. They can go rub their knuckles in dog poo. Thieves. I may be dumb but I'm not stupid. Good grief. I'm surprised they are still in business. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
