My rep Jon 😍 greeted me with this confident little nod that instantly made me feel like my old phone wasn’t the only thing getting an upgrade today. He walked me through the plans so smoothly I almost forgot we were talking about data and not… something deeper. He asked if I needed help setting up my device — and I swear the way he said “I’ve got you” made my knees unlock a little. Very professional. Yet… reassuring in a way I wasn’t ready for at 2:30 in the afternoon. While transferring my info, he stood close enough that I could smell his cologne — subtle, clean, and honestly a bit unfair. Verizon should not allow their employees to smell like that. It’s distracting. My phone wasn’t the only thing overheating. He even told me I picked a “nice color” for the phone. I don’t know, man… there was energy in the way he said it. By the time I checked out, I had a new phone, a new case, and a confusing urge to leave him a thank-you note. Or a fruit basket. If you want someone who takes customer service seriously — maybe even a little too seriously — ask for JON He’ll take care of you… and your phone. Mostly your phone. Probably.
