I have had two encounters there this year. Both times my pets were treated with such care and gentleness. April, I put one of my dogs down due to old age… he was blind, deaf, no teeth, and had an unknown heart issue. They were wonderful and explained everything to me. They were so caring and made it such a peaceful process. Yesterday, someone hit our 2 year old dog and kept driving. We got right in, assessed and xrayed immediately. They handled her with such care. Each lady was so wonderful! I dealt with Dr Edington both times I believe and she is just wonderful. Two awful experiences that were made calm and peaceful! Well done!!!

My cat recently passed away and they are so kind. Very helpful and respectful. After i received his ashes, they sent a card in the mail with their condolences. They’re so thoughtful and great to work with.

I have been going to this clinic since I moved to Findlay about 5 years ago. It has increasingly been worse each visit. Whether it has been with my cats or our dog that we adopted from the humane society last november. We don’t know her back story but know she is a nervous dog around other people. We have worked with her on being with other people and dogs and has done so much better. She does good at the groomers and loves going to doggy day care with other dog handlers and dogs. The last couple of visits have been awful. Saw a different vet the last time and they told me it was so hard to give her the shots and insinuated that my dog is not comfortable at my home or with me that’s the reason she’s acting how she is or has been abused making it sound like I abuse my dog. THAT comment should have been it with taking her back there. I never could imagine someone accusing me of that. She is a rescue and I don’t know her past but she is a great dog at home just nervous around strangers. So that was completely unprofessional in its self. Then they told me they recommended to give her anxiety pills before she comes in next time. I don’t want to give my dog unnecessary pills that aren’t needed. She probably is anxious around them and moves around but has never shown any aggression towards anyone before, not a growl, not a snarl, no teeth showing, no barking. I feel they have no patience with bigger slightly nervous dogs. Then , comes to the last visit that I had that was the last straw. Took her in for her rabies shot, since the vet called off the last time we tried to take her in so took her in. The vet comes out saying it’s not doable, it’s unsafe she has to be on pills before they will touch her. They said she pooped and released her glands. Well she probably pooped because she didn’t have her morning poop yet and I have no idea what they did to her back there to act the way she was. She has never acted like that before when I have taken her in. So they said she pooped and then said she had poop all over butt still. Did not offer us any wipes. I had to ask for something to wipe her butt off, they made us do it in the waiting room, never offered to help us, all the receptionists were all just looking at us and all the customers in there. It was the worst experience I have ever had probably at any establishment, almost left there in tears. The receptionists are not very nice either , especially the one. They do not take the time with your animals or have any compassion to truly care for their clients.
