I will not be shopping at Best buy again. I called to check the status of a laptop I left with the geek squad for repair and received the worst customer service that I have ever received. First, I was hung up on 3 times. After I checked the status of my repair with the automated service, I wanted to speak with some at the store to get further detail. Three consecutive time I was hung up on by the automated service while I waited to speak with someone at the store. After that horrible experience, I called the corporate customer service line and received more poor customer service.
When I finally reached a person to talk to, the customer rep seemed more confused than anything else, so I requested to speak with a supervisor. I was then placed on hold for 40 minutes of silence while I waited to speak with a supervisor.
When I finally reached a supervisor, she did help me find more information about my laptop. But she was very dismissive about my complaint and seemed more interested in getting me off the phone.
What should have been a 15 minute conversation took 2 hours.
After thIs experience and several other bad customer experiences, my wife and I have decided we will no longer be shopping at Best Buy...not that they seem to care!
