However, Kay at the front desk was very disrespectful and rude. This was my first negative experience at this hospital. She rolled her eyes while I was speaking and displayed unprofessional behavior.

We had come to adore this boy who arrived at our house biting and yowling only 9 months before. He had come from an abusive situation.We went to our usual nearby vet, a practice I had gone to for nearly 40 years. They missed a couple of things about him, and I had been unhappy with their work for awhile. So my granddaughter looked for another vet. We couldn’t have been treated better here. Max didn’t make it, and our hearts are broken. We’ll be driving across town in the future because, wouldn’t you know it, another cat needed a home.

Antibiotics were given the first visit, however on the second visit when concerns were risen about continuous or worsening symptoms she was simply told that the antibiotics were working. However, that’s not how antibiotics work. Thanks to rapid decision making, she was taken to another vet where they found she had pneumonia, and due to the allowed onset was in a critical state. As a pet parent this WRENCHED my gut. Think twice before coming here, there are plenty of more qualified veterinary practices in Columbus.
- JEJason EggenaSep 29, 20255.0Can't say good enough things about VCA and especially Dr. Beckett. A couple of years ago, he did a CCL surgery on our 1 dog hind leg. It was a great experience from start to finish. Recently, I had another vet give our other dog a pretty crushing prognosis on a tumor found on his tongue during a routine exam for a teeth cleaning. We were to believe that the "cancerous" tumor couldn't be fully removed, and our time left would be a few months at best. Needing another opinion, we saw Dr. Beckett again. His thoughts and attitude on the situation were a complete 180 from what we were just told. He removed the tumor and performed a teeth cleaning at the same time. We are waiting on the test results, but with his reassurance and positive attitude , we are not sweating it. His opinion really saved my dog and gave me hope to have many more years together.
