I entered this agreement expecting my bill to be $90. Instead, it arrived at $145. When I contacted customer service, they confirmed a second line had been added. Confronting Alex, he lied outright, claiming I would not be charged despite the bill clearly stating otherwise. He then tried to pacify me with false promises of discounts, insisting for two weeks that I would only pay $90. Fortunately, customer service had recorded the conversation, verified his dishonesty, and resolved the issue by issuing credits and canceling all unauthorized add-ons. When I informed Alex, he attempted further manipulation, warning I would “lose out on discounts.” I made it clear I did not want fraudulent discounts tied to services I never asked for. His behavior was a calculated scam to inflate his holiday bonus. The deception continued: Alex falsely claimed fiber Wi-Fi was available in my area. Both customer service and another store associate confirmed this was untrue. I have reported Alex to Verizon for his repeated lies, manipulations, and attempts to defraud me. His actions are disgraceful, unprofessional, and criminal in nature. He is a liar, a scammer, and a thief. If he is so financially desperate that he must deceive customers, he should not be entrusted with a managerial position. Alex is a disgrace to Verizon. Customers deserve honesty, not exploitation. He will reap the consequences of his actions. Update: Management contacted me in an attempt to purchase my silence, offering a $300 account credit if I removed my review. I declined. Their actions clearly demonstrate a lack of integrity.
