Tried to get dashcam installed in my wife's car. There is no way to call the location directly you are routed to a call center. Showed up to appointment after being forced to prepay and they said they didn't have the right wires (even though I did the same thing at a different Bestbuy for my car the week prior without issue). Then had to wait in a 20min line to get a refund. Waste of time

Terrible service, unprofessional, not transparent about the installations nothing could be worse than this place!
Got a new receiver for my car, installation appointment took a month, I called to make sure i had everything I needed, they assure i did, first thing they told me on my appoiment day was I needed something I had to buy somewhere ese… I explain i already changed that part , they said no, so they didnt installed it. Offcouse i buy it , and then had to wait again, and no, i didn’t need it, they gave it back to me…so they could make the installation before.
They didn’t plug my rear camera back, told me it was not compatible… but i could get a new one from them .. it was $100 plus $150 for installation =$250 and next appoiment was in 1 month… ofcourse i didn’t want .. all the experience was terrible, made me lose 3 days , every trip there was a new problem, got lot of things (cable and stuff i didn’t need).
Went to Brooklyn car audio(1683 Utica Ave, bkyn,ny 11234) booked an apoiment for next day, told me they could connect the camera without any problem, just need a $20 cable… but they had a nice camara (more resolution than the one in best buy and the one I had) so they charge me $150 installation included and got it changed… easy, no problem, not overcharged everything was smooth and fast…

You cannot call anyone at the actual store! I bought a brand new mac computer online, left it for some set up, the technician called me and left a message needing an answer from me about what I want done and told me to call back. I called 5 times and only got someone in an answering center, they said no one can call the store!! I have to drive over there! I said I am returning a call from the geek squad who needed to hear back from me. Why would they call me and ask me to return the call when they can't be reached?This customer service SUCKS!!!!! Anytime I go in the store there are at least 5 people standing around doing nothing, why can't someone answer a call?? I will stop doing business at Best Buy for this very reason. I gave them one star because you can't leave it empty, but really it should be none.

Should have more information and customer service so customers could make better informed decisions even if they don't have a laptop or computer when are trying to contact them for that very same help you are trying to ask them for. And if I'm not mistaking they are expensive service
