The gentleman who did the procedure was extremely compassionate as was the female Vet on call that day. I highly recommend this facility. They are top notch!!!

I wasn’t disappointed with the care she received at veterinary referral & Emergency Center of Westbury. Everyone was kind and she was diagnosed quickly. This is my fifth time using this facility and each and every time it was an amazing experience.
- MIMaha Zainab IshtiaqFeb 27, 20265.0I brought a stray kitten to VCA Animal Hospital during an emergency after being unable to find another facility that could take her in. She had a severe respiratory infection that had worsened to the point where she was struggling to breathe. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff acted quickly and compassionately. They promptly informed the doctors, and the kitten was taken in and placed under immediate care. Since I chose to cover the expenses and stay throughout the process, I witnessed firsthand the dedication of the team. I waited for about four hours while she received IV fluids, oxygen support, diagnostics, and other necessary treatments. Dr. McGraw explained everything thoroughly and clearly, taking the time to discuss her condition, treatment plan, and prognosis with care and empathy. We were sent home with a good supply of antibiotics and ointments, and it was evident that the team did everything possible to help her. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the kitten passed away later that night due to the severity of the infection and secondary complications. While the outcome was heartbreaking, I truly appreciate the level of care, compassion, and professionalism shown by the staff and medical team. The infection had already progressed significantly, and she required constant support that was difficult to sustain. I am grateful to the entire team for treating her with dignity and for giving her a chance. Their kindness and dedication during such a difficult situation did not go unnoticed.
