    I bought a side by side fridge and a bunch of other stuff with warranties, probably about 5k worth of stuff. The guy sells me a water filter and when it comes time to change 5 months after purchase and I go to install, it is the wrong one. It was more than 50$ so I call and they can't help me, no store credit, no options, you are just out of luck. The only recourse I have is to no longer purchase my electronics from Best Buy. Their loss, and over 50 bucks on a 5k sale. The service you get nowadays, especially by these brands is poor, even my call was transferred out of country. Every item you buy you should check thoroughly if you have time. I gave it 2 stars cause the coffee machine and fridge is still working and has not given a problem, a whirlpool with the ice/water.

    We came into the Best Buy in Westbury planning to purchase a new television, knowing a few things about what we wanted, but still needing some information and advice. Roman came over to assist us, and was immediately very pleasant and patient with all of our many questions, and he was terrific in the manner in which he answered them. We really appreciated the fact that when he was unsure of an answer, he didn’t guess or give an answer without knowing, but instead immediately researched the question and found us the answer. We could tell that he knew what types of equipment we would be interested in having. We were glad that he educated us about a subwoofer to go with the soundbar we were buying with the television. He patiently demonstrated it for us, playing sound with and without the subwoofer operating, even though we asked for the demonstration a number of times. Roman has a way about him such that in his quiet, attentive way he helped us resolve uncertainties which enabled us to confidently make educated decisions. Roman gained our trust as he guided us to make the decisions that were right for us for this very big purchase, and was a great teacher every time we posed our many questions to him. We were very pleased that Roman responded to our request for a price match, as we had seen online that Crutchfield sold the same television for a lower price than Best Buy had advertised. Roman was also very kind in advising us that if Best Buy sells the items we bought at a lower price within the next 60 days, as My Best Buy Total members, we can get a refund of the difference in price. Roman made our visit to Best Buy a terrific experience. Then, on the scheduled date for delivery and installation, we wanted to ask Roman a question, so we called and left a message. He called back within minutes and answered our question. Later that day, following the installation, Roman called us to see how it went. We thought that was extraordinarily kind service. As the installer failed to effectively process a refund to which we were entitled because of a return, we advised Roman and he processed the refund seamlessly. Roman made a nervous situation manageable for us that day. There is more—when we called Roman two days after the delivery because we noticed that the price of the soundbar and subwoofer had decreased, not only did Roman immediately process a refund for us for those two items, but he informed us that we were entitled to a price adjustment for our new television because of a new lower price for My Best Buy Total members. Roman is amazing. We appreciate that Best Buy employs terrific people like Roman to assist its customers.
