Dr. Betts, Alexis, Lexi, and some others literally saved my cats life! Let me set the scene - I'm on a work trip and I get a video of my diabetic cat shaking, drooling and unresponsive. I know the emergency vet doesn't know anything about my cat or his unique medical ailments. Sunrise Veterinary Group (VCA) tells my cats care taker to bring him in immediately, despite the fact that they were about to close. They welcomed him in with open arms, figured out what was wrong, and literally saved his life! In addition to life saving treatment, they gave him so much love and cuddles. I truly felt so much better knowing he was in the care of Dr. Betts and his trusted team. I can't thank them enough!

Can’t say enough good things about this vet group. Have been using them since 2000, with Dr Bystry as our dogs’ primary vet. Over the years, Dr Bystry continues to provide skilled clinical assessments, while being both compassionate and pragmatic in his approach to care- always allowing for his clients to feel in control of their own pet’s health care management, and more importantly, without judgement. There are other great vets in this group, but we mostly deal with Dr Bystry due to our long term history, trust and comfort we have established with him over the years. In addition, their staff is always accommodating in scheduling our visits, regardless if planned or urgent and show compassion towards their patients and their owners.

I had been coming to this vet for many years even got other people going as well. My cat had blood in her stool, the vet charged over $600 but took her in right away. Got home and whatever smell she picked up from vet my other very bonded sister cat viciously attacked her and me. I called the vet the next day in panic, they told me to bring the other cat in to get her examined. Reluctantly I took her out of my home and brought her in. The vet was supposed to “examine her” but decided not to even look at her in the carrier and proceeded to tell me I have to re home her, what are you going to do drug your cat daily to make them get along, saying horrible things to me to the point I got emotional. Needless to say after he berated me and never did any exam on her I was charged a bit over $130 and sent home. After thinking about it I called the vet office upset the following day. At first the front desk did not want to help me until I asked to speak to manager. Needless to say I complained I wanted my money back for the wasted horrible visit, she offered a free exam instead which I did not agree. I was told the following day they would credit me the $130 but my 2 cats are no longer patients at that hospital and that my Dr patient relationship has been terminated. All this vet office cares about is money, they do not care about the wellbeing of your animals. I was never rude one bit and was just upset how I was treated and basically banned for that. I have found a new vet who cares for animals and not just money and actually even calls to follow up on how the pet is doing. One more thing my last cat was acting funny and I took her to this vet. They told me she had an anal gland issue and squeezed them. Charged me several hundred dollars. Two days later my cat seemed worse and I took her to an emergency vet, it wasn’t her anal glands she had stomach cancer and passed away.
