I don't usually write reviews but I just have to for this clinic. The last week of my cat Dude's life was spent being cared for by the absolute best veterinary specialists I could have asked for. I have to give the highest of thanks to Dr. Lu for his compassion and eagerness to address every question and concern I had all the way up until he performed the final euthanasia procedure. He clearly understood what Dude meant to me and worked diligently to create a treatment plan at the most affordable price point. Dr. Hill also assisted on short notice in creating a medication plan to keep my cat comfortable.
Further thanks goes to the veterinary technicians and front desk staff for their kindness and excellent communication when I would call with urgent questions.
I ultimately visited VCA North Country four times over the course of nine days (three of which were same day appointments) and every day I knew I was dealing with a group of utmost professionals. If you want quality care for your animal companion, this is where you come.

My counter surfer dog, Maggie Mae, ate 5 unbaked yeast cresent rolls. My regular clinic was closed (weather) so called VCA. Was told to bring her right out. Was treated. She is now fine.

Lizzie has been a patient since she was born. ( even before I became her Mom.) She has had excellent care here. All the staff are very pleasant and definitely animal lovers. Lizzie was the victim of a large dog attack while we were on vacation at a friend’s in Ohio. Consequently, she lost an eye. She was given a follow up appointment right away to check her when we returned. While we were in the waiting room, a couple of large dogs were there also. The staff helped to keep Lizzie ( and me) from being near these dogs by taking us into the exam room immediately and letting us check out and leave by a side door. We were still in shock and traumatized by the incident. It was helpful to have this consideration at that time. We continue to go here for care even though we live in Harrisville and it is quite a distance to go.
