  literally worst customer service i have ever encountered. this is the first review ive ever left on anything but i feel like i have to because it was so horrible. each employee told me a different story about what needed to be done with my computer. additionally, i was ignored while standing at the counter for 5+ minutes both times i was there while an employee was on facetime with a friend (no other customer was being helped and i was the only one in line). Finally, what drove us the most crazy was the condescending and manipulative tone they use when speaking to you. Like i said before, each employee told me something different and they all speak down to you. Their tone is very different with there male customers, though, and i was treated very different when I had my dad present versus my mom. Wonder if this is how they treat all of their female customers. Anyway, it is week 3 without my computer after being told I’d have it back in 2 weeks and I haven’t heard a word from their company. I need it for college and was very clear about that when i spoke to them both times. reading the rest of these reviews made it all make sense. deffidently will be going somewhere else with future issues.

  So I’m usually a fan of their services and everything is always good and cool and let me start off by saying Marcus is a great person to represent this company and I have no problems with him at all he was always straight forward and always helped me whenever I took my PC in. But here’s this and this isn’t Marcus’s fault because he didn’t work on it he even told me which I respect. I pick my PC up tonight and don’t pay much attention to it until I go home, I get home and see thermal paste smeared over my glass and on the case next to my RGB strip and on my GPU and motherboard so I figured okay whatever it happens… I guess. Then upon further inspection I see that my vertical gpu is sagging just a tiny bit, again I get it this happens not everyone can set one up perfect first try. Then I see a screw just sitting on motherboard and go to tip my pc to have the screw fall onto the table and three screws fall out of my build from who knows where. Then after fixing my GPU I notice that the pcie latch going to the GPU is hanging by a thread. Which it wasn’t before I dropped it off and it falls off also breaking my vertical pcie to the gpu itself. I get that things happen, and I’ve never had a problem taking my things to geek squad and or ever had any issues with them because they do good work but this really disappointed me and may be the point where I consider what just happened before taking it in. Again Marcus is a great employee and this is not to him because he always kept it solid w me on what was needed.

  The geek squad took my computer in and organized a pick up day for friday. We'll friday came and my pc was not ready nor did I hear from the geeksquad. On top of all that its is a literal NIGHTMARE to fight through tech support to even get to speak with one of them. Turned out within the 6 days they held my pc they did virtually nothing and told me the problem a week later was exactly what I suspected of it. Important to add the best buy call center straight up lied to me on the geeksquad service being free and lied on it being same day. SAVE YOUR MONEY, YOUR TIME, AND SANITY DO NOT GO
